Handmade Portable Clear Glass Water Bottle

I write this detailed review because I care about us as consumers. Also because it is our duty as human beings to look out for each other and help when the opportunity permits itself: This glass bottle is a great glass bottle without being under any rapid pressure change. Be forewarned for those who are frequent air travelers and like to keep their glass bottles full of water for hydration during a long flight. The bottle top is a push in top. NOT a screw top like most bottles. It will not leak because of the rubber casing that fits circumference of the bottle rim. HOWEVER! If you decide to fly on an airplane, be advised that the TOP WILL POP OFF as pressure begins to take effect during the climb in altitude. If you have this bottle full of water or liquid, it is best to hold it upright for take off and not in an overhead bin or in your bag! That is unless you want to have a wet suitcase or a leaking mess above you or someone else. Take it from a person who travels often. (Inflight Crew Member here!) Other than that, it is a great glass bottle capable of holding a lot of water. I actually like it. You just have to be mindful about it when traveling on an airplane. THE TOP DOES STAY SEALED AND INTACT OTHERWISE. AND WILL NOT LEAK IN ANY NORMAL ENVIRONMENT. BEST REGARDS...I hope this review helps you. S.B

I spent forever searching for the perfect water bottle. I wanted it to be glass (I don't like the feeling of metal on my mouth and plastic creeps me out), hold more than 32oz (I find the larger my water bottle, the more water I will drink in a day), and have an attractive design so I would enjoy having it on my desk. This water bottle fits the bill and it's simply awesome - such a looker that I actually get comments on it all the time. I didn't plan on taking it around with me in my purse, as I wasn't sure how well the top would actually work, but it turns out to work perfectly and I carry it often in my bag with no issues. It is somewhat fragile, but not overly so. I banged it accidentally on things (like the faucet) quite a bit, even dropping it twice, and it didn't break, but finally one day when I dropped it it shattered. I missed it so much, I ordered another one two days later.

Bought this for about $30(?) and enjoyed while stoll intact. I like that it is all glass and silicon but it is too brittle because mine hit a wooden chair and the cap shattered into pieces. I've used it for a month and I think it is not worth the money. They should also put a sleeve to protect the cap and neck of the bottle not just the body. Returned it but was charged $5 for restocking fee!

Initially feels flimsy and like it will easily break, but I find it to be pretty solid. I like that this is glass so you don't have to worry about plastic leeching, or metallic taste so water tastes like water. The included sleeve provides a decent grip and will help prevent sweating onto my desk. Also, I like the traction the sleeve provides. I think the bottle might be a bit slippery if used without it. I haven't used this for hot water, but the sleeve will probably help insulate and protect your hands. Only negative so far is that the seal easily comes off the cap (which is nice for cleaning purposes, but not if you are walking, or at the gym). Also, I wish the cap had a connector to the bottle for when I'm running errands. I did fill the bottle up and invert and there was no leakage. It's a good size bottle that I will be able to refrigerate, then put in the sleeve. I am considering purchasing a second one for use at home for company.

Looks beautiful, and I love the concept, but the statement that declares "a special process" is used to make the glass stronger so the glass can still be thin, yet strong, is BS. One tip on the counter, and the glass broke. Luckily not into pieces, but it created a large crack in the bottom of the bottle that made it impossible to put/carry liquid. $25 straight to the recycling bin. I just wish they were a bit more upfront as to the fragility of the product. I understand it's not meant to be tossed around, but if you're going to advertise a portable bottle, at least make it strong enough not to break before the first use. What a waste of money....

Pro: large bottle and very light weight which I keep at my office. That prevents me from running back and forth for water. The sleeve is a nice touch as well Con: Not durable. The bottle cap is hollow glass. If dropped by accident it is sure to shatter into many pieces. Update: I was contacted by W&A and they offered me a replacement after the bottle cap shattered! I was very surprised and also very impressed with their customer service. There are few companies today that are willing to stand up for their products; and for this rigorous customer support it deserves a 5 star rating. After-all it is still a great bottle to drink from.

The bottles ate lovely but the stopper broken when it tipped over. The bottle was fine, just less useful with a stop.

I had considered returning this bottle after I bought it and have since changed my mind. It's true, the glass does not seem very sturdy, and there's no easy way to carry it, making it even more likely that it could break. The mouth opening is on the smaller side making it slightly more difficult to clean, and the glass cap has to be pulled straight out rather than tilting it in order to avoid rubbing glass on glass. Nonetheless, I decided to keep it despite these drawbacks because it is one of the few glass bottles I've found, and it holds more water than the others I've found. I bought another one at a department store that seems sturdier and has a loop for easy carrying, however, it's smaller, and it has a bamboo lid which is nice except that the water doesn't taste as good due to the bamboo (and maybe the glue in the lid?). So despite my initial reservations, I find myself drinking out of this bottle more than any other simply because of the smoothness and clean taste of the water. I'm not sure how long this bottle will stay in one piece, but hopefully long enough to justify the price!
