Item is sturdy and functional, but does not come packaged in its own box. As a result, one of the posts I ordered arrived without its cover plate (cover plates are supplied in a baggie taped to the post). Also, all the instructions come on labels stuck to the post which are a pain to remove (they shred); so order a bottle of goo-gone when you order these! Finally the gasket seems to be made of stiff cardboard, and seems dubious as to its weather sealing properties. I'll be using instant gasket rather than trusting them. I'd suggest ordering the instant gasket while you're ordering the goo-gone. Arlington should fix these deficiencies if they want to get 5 stars.

These are great. As an electrical contractor I use many of these a year. And their pricing beats our local supply house by 50%! You cannot get a better mount than the Arlington series. Very good quality and on Amazon an exceptional value!
