Perfect fit, no blisters
All of the experiences in these bad reviews scared me but they did not reflect my experience! I did not break these in first and wore them for 4 days straight in Iceland and Ireland with no issues! Since I was backpacking I had to wear them in the airports too and never had blisters or a size issue! They are great value for the price and served me well hiking to waterfalls and my feet never got wet. They also were not too bulky at all when I ended up packing them on the last day.

Weird fitting not worth it
So let me start off my saying it's hard to say it "fits as expected" I didnt order the wide boot, yet it is really wide , I usually wear and 8.5 and ordered a 9 and with thick socks my toe is rubbing on the shoe, but I feel like a 10 would be way too big . I haven't worn them to the barn yet but when I do I'll update on terrain and water resistance but by trying them on the silent is really comfyUpdate after use* - the toe part is narrower then the rest of the boot and 7 hours in them running next to horses through sand and puddles an dumping troughs, it kept my feet dry but blistered the side of my big toe and actually rubbed on my nail so bad its bruised and lifting .. I would post a pic but its pretty gross... I wouldn't reccomend going up a complete size as they are already wide .. I just wouldn't purchase them unless you need a wide shoeupdate again: well I lost both big toenails from the way the shoe rubbed on my big toes

Don’t buy poor quality.
I have worn these 2 days and the 2nd day the heel cracked and I could feel it under my foot. Of course walking in from my backyard water got in through the hole. These are garbage don’t buy them!

They look good but are not true to size
I bought these for a trip to the national park. I wore them for a day and had bought a size 8 (which I normally wear) but found my toes bumping upagainst the tops over and over again. My daughter who is also a size 8 found the same problem. They look good but are not true to size. I would get at least a 1/2 size bigger if not a full size.

Shoes that tried to be Boots.
Pros: Fits Well, Looks Great, Decent PaddingCons: Poor Craftsmanship, Poor Materials, Weak Rubber, Easy to Damage, Not Waterproof (resistant at best). Extremely Low Lifespan (Urban Shoe, not a real boot.)First I'll start my review by saying I do not have a car or drive, I walk 1.3 Miles to and from work everyday over varied terrain and conditions, and with the work load I have (Truck Offload/Receiving), shoes/boots have an extremely low lifespan for me. That said, I had figured that these mid range "hiking" boots would at least give me a good solid 3-5 months of life and get me through winter. This was not to be, as within the first 3 weeks the glue holding the front lip of the shoe started to peel off, this in turn allowed rain to get into the shoe. 1 week after that, the bottom of the shoe wore a small hole in the heel which further hurt the shoes water resistance. Now, a random tear on the side, of the material has destroyed any water resistance this boots had. The bottom of the boots now feels spongy due to water damage, and the rubber grips on the bottom are gone. The Pictures are current shots of the shoes I still have, I bought them on Nov 10th, and now Jan 7 they are all but useless. My advice, if you want a pair of shoes that looks/feels like hiking boots for light urban activity, than for the price these shoes are great (only reason they did not get 1 star). If however you were looking for actual Hiking Boots that are rugged and will last, cough up another 100$ and go elsewhere and avoid made in China (which is where these boots are made.)

Great looking boots with good tread
Super adorable boots. I wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9. They fit perfectly. They seem a little on the flimsy side but look nice. I have yet to wear them anywhere wet or yucky or rugged so I will update once I do. They are comfortable and I would recommend going up a half size if planning on wearing thicker socks. They have a great tread pattern on the bottom. Hope to use these in Yosemite soon.

Didn't last long, not waterproof
After having these boots for ~6months I'm disappointed to report that one of the upper eyelets/hooks broke, mid-hike no less. I've taken probably 5-10 hikes in total and wore the shoes for two or three light yardwork projects.A few more months have passed, they are starting to really weaken from use, they do not keep my feet dry when walking through grass with dew on it. I unfortunately need to replace them less than a year after buying them.If you do not want them for actual hiking/use, they were a nice looking boot.--- previous---- I'm reg. a 7.5 ordered an 8 and am happy with the fit, especially the width. Overall, nice boot for the price. The pair needed some breaking in and padded insoles. Only complaint is that my feet slide down into the front of the shoe when hiking down steep inclines, even when tightly laced. Used mostly for 2-3 hour moderate hikes and yard work.

Don’t buy these boots
These boots were purchased for my wife in May 2020. She has used them for leisure walking on average about 3 miles since then. They were comfortable to begin with but by August the laces completely deteriorated and had to be replaced, and the soles started to disintegrate. Walking over stoney ground was painful and the sole had become soft and would fall apart to the touch. As you can see there are holes in both shoes under the heels in the same place. For 4 1/2 months wear, this is totally unacceptable. They are not good value at all. I can’t find a way to contact the seller other than this review but I believe I should have my money back.

Feel apart
I got these in end of january and they have been worn a hand full of times over febuary and march! Ive had to repalce the lasses with in the 1st month and now today i notice the material has all ripped from the sole! I was expecting these to last me until the end of summer not 8weeks! I wouldnt recommend and i defo wouldny be buying again! I use them to walk the dogs in and the sole of the shoes are still really good and could prob last but the upper material is rubbish! These boots are warm and comfy to wear and they look nice!

Not wonderful
I've been wearing these boots for 6 weeks now; around 2-3 times per week. I haven't done any 'heavy' walking in them. The fit is a little large, but adding more socks is not a problem. Comfort-wise, not the most comfortable boots I've had, but overall OK.The main issue with them is that one of them has very quickly developed a hole in the side and also in another location on the edging is coming away from the body of the boot. The other boot has developed a large split down the back. The net result is a soggy foot. I had hoped that these would last me over the winter, but I've had to get another pair already. Needless to say, I will be avoiding Mountain Warehouse boots for the foreseeable future.

Very disappointed- Don’t waste your money
I don’t like to leave a bad review and would prefer to talk to the seller directly but there does not appear to be an option for this. I purchased as a gift and literally in 4weeks of use the laces have fallen to bits and the sole have worn so badly they are letting in water! I have requested a return/refund but as these have been worn I’m assuming this will not fill the criteria for the return? Is it normal for a pair of walking boots to degrade this quickly? I feel for what I’ve paid this does not seem right at all, I also went with your brand as I thought you offered a quality product. I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks

NOT WATERPROOF
Worn for the first time yesterday and was out in a lot of rain and walked through some long wet grass. Feet stayed dry and then walked through a very wet underground tunnel. Feet got a little damp so I would say not quite 100% waterproof but a big difference to wearing trainers. I did spray them with waterproofer before wear which I think helped I would buy again but for walking through a couple of inches of water maybe wellies would be better. UPDATE !!!!! today I walked through wet grass and ended up with 1 cold and soggy foot. THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF. I am putting it down to maybe I did not dry my insoles out properly from last time. I have worn them 5 times but if it happens again I will send them back
