Le livre est très beau, très complet. Il y a de très belle reproductions des oeuvres et de belles vues d'accrochage.La dernière interview est très touchante.On découvre la sensibilité d'un artiste qui n'est pas "la grande machine" que l'on imagine.

I have studied mike kelleys work since 2000, when I initiated research for my doctorate. Apart from the superficial aspects of being born in the same year with the same initials of our names, we also shared a fascination for the ways images emerge from mass cultural platforms like broadcast tv to more esoteric texts that explore human abduction and recovered memory. Despite the serious subjects tackled in his work, mike kelley was still empowered with the insights and interpretative skill to maintain ironic and satirical perspectives which render his texts with open ended narratives adding im measurabley to critical and academic inquiry. His writings, photography, art paraphenalia and modes of documentation were hugely useful for my work as visual arts educator. This monograph captures the scale and complexities of contribution in creative, innovative ways that are as accessible as they are detailed and thorough. A new standard is set for art books in the digital age.

Excellent and up to date book. Much cheaper than the PS1 library copy... The Phaidon is a much older publication so there is no question on buying this one if you're interested by Kelley's work.
