The blanket heats up relatively quickly and get warm enough. It large enough for King bed without going right to edges. Size would match most other electric blankets. Best of all, it's great value for money. Would recommend.

We use this to warm up the bed on those chilly nights just before getting in. We put it in just under the duvet for about an hour ahead of getting into bed.Don't think it would be comfortable to sleep on though as the heating elements are very noticeable even under a couple of sheets and mattress protector. That's the only gripe with these type of blankets. No big deal though for having a toasty bed to get into.

Wouldn’t be without it on these cold cold nights since I lost my beautiful husband to cancer earlier this year. Perfectly serviceable, warms up nice and swiftly and switches are responsive.Easy to install. Pop it under the mattress protector if you don’t want to feel any knobbly bits.Would recommend, every bit as good as one twice its price, I am sure.

Lovely and warm. Heats up quite quickly. Straps are too short and don't fit around the mattress, had to add ribbon to extend them.

My dad loved it. He said he wishes he had one before. Lovely and warm. Can’t get him out of bed. Helps he’s bad back. Worth every penny. I even bought one for he’s best friend.

Make sue that you check the measurements before you buy. This is tiny. Only the size of a cot mattress so not long enough to reach your feet whilst lying in bed.
