Just as described and it fit where we needed to replace the valve and cover perfectly. The cover is made nicely with the valve opening easily to put the vacuum cleaner into the wall. We got white and it looks nice and clean where the old one was falling apart. We are excited to know that we can replace all the old valves now and update the house,
