Orbit 3-Valve Header
This Orbit 3-valve header was good quality, worked good with no issues, and were a good value. O-ring sealed unions worked very well with no issues with leakages.

Perfect for above-ground manifold -- easy to install for a beginner
I asked an irrigation company to build a six-valve manifold -- estimate was $2,000. So I decided to build myself. And with this manifold, it is practically built. I used six valves but you can extend it even further. Because everything screws together, it was easy to assemble. I used plumber's tape on the threads just to ensure they didn't leak.PRO TIP: Make sure your setup satisfies code compliance. The valves need to be a certain height from the irrigation line and you must ensure no contaminated water flows back into the source. I installed a UPC® Certified 1" Brass Pressure Vacuum Breaker to the manifold which is also compliant with the ASSE 1020-2020 standard. The benefit of using a separate pressure vacuum (as opposed to using valves that have them built in) is that is can be tested and certified that is is working. I used threaded 1" PVC couplings to attach to the manifold so I can remove if I have to.This is an easy weekend job -- even with multiple trips to the hardware store to get PVC fittings. And I saved $2,000.

Easy but not fully functional
So far so good, everything was hooked up and wired correctly but one of the solenoids was bad, everything’s already hooked up, so I’m just gonna buy another one, but upon first use with the Ranchio 3 controller everything is working as expected.

Easy to add a 4 station battery timer to if unable to run power.
Easy to install, Nice fit up. Easy to replace valves if required or add an extension to that will allow more valve stations to be added.

Valves leaked after one day and could not be closed
On Day 1 everything was working fine. Zero leaks and the one zone that was connected worked fine. On Day 2 it was leaking water straight past 3 of the 4 valves and neither the manual shut offs nor the orbit zone controller could shut the valves and stop the water flowing past the 3 valves. Buy better valves and make your own manifold.

not all parts delivered
Product is very good. 3 star rating given as i bought 3 packs of 4 valves, 2 packs were each packed in boxes with all parts, 3rd pack came in plastic bag inside a much box with several parts missing, not major, such as pack of 4 electrical connectors, instructions etc , but annoying.
