Hyper Shocker 26" 18-Speed Men's Bike, Model OPP-152601

What a POS. 2 months in and on a bike ride with my kids the rear chain shifter just snaps off. Had to walk miles back to the car. This should never happen to a bike and it did on this NEW bike.

A complete useless bike, i ordered this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. It arrived on 24th but when I tried to assemble I found that the front forks are so much squeezed that the front wheel can’t go in. It was defective, probably manufacturing defect. From the box I felt that the product might have been returned by several persons. A complete disaster, I didn’t have any gift for my daughter. They simply ruined my Christmas this year. Not only that I had to carry this useless crap to fedex ground for shipping it back. Request everyone not to buy, you will waste your energy and will get emotionally frustrated.

I do not recommend this product because it has several defects in just two weeks of use. On its first day of use the speed changer broke, soon after the tire tube broke then the chain broke too. obviously I bought the intention to use, but until the present moment I could not and I spent almost the value of the bike in a week.

The bike arrived with a few bent parts.

I don't drive because of my Disability. This is my fourth Hyper 26 inch... I ride my Hyper bikes a couple of years each which totals a couple Thousands miles on their usage... So these Mountain bikes are very strong an good for everyday usage to get around on...

Bought this to transform to an electric ebike. Works well for the price. Made slight adjustments to the brakes but brakes work well. Dual suspension does good on absorbing bumps making it smoother on gravel & trails. I had a murtisol bike before and that was a piece of junk since day 1. Had another one of these hyper shockers and also worked quite well. Will buy again.

Spend $220 at Walmart and buy a Schwinn instead like my wife did for herself. Overall this bike is scaled down in size. The handle grips, the tires are junk, the frame. I couldn't adjust the front brake to not rub on the wobbly front rim and still activate so I have 1/2 the front brake I would like. The rear wheel chain derailleur is garbage, causing the bike to jump either out of gear or from gear to gear while peddling which is sketchy and frustrating. And on tonights ride the derailleur started acting up causing the chain to completely break. This was my 3rd time on the bike and we only ride the neighborhood streets that have some hills. Not rugged dirt riding. This bike is useless if it can't even handle little street hills with confidence. Looks like I'll now be going to Target to get a real mountain bike. #schwinnrulesanyway

The bike is very good. Rides nicely, gears shift well and it is comfortable with the flat seat I switched to. However, all of the parts didn't come with the bike, and the decals were damaged, which didn't seem to be a result of shipping. I had to call their customer service twice to get the missing parts, that included pedals.
