Recommended. We had an unused corner and a small laundry room - where to put the ironing board?This hide-a-way ironing center solved the problem neatly. Mounts on the surface of the wall, or between the studs, extends about 50 inches off the wall when deployed.Instructions are clear and to the point.Features a safety switch to cut power to the built in socket when the board is folded away, and a timer that must be turned on to power the iron, and a floodlight to see your work. The iron sits in a small shelf with a heat shield when not in use.Installation requires a solid support and a bit of electrical work, and a helper to lift it into position.The plain white door fits the white trim of the house well.

This product was wired wrong at the factory and my GC/builder had to rewire the unit to make it work during the install and U was charged to fix Iron A Way's mistake. For this price point this was ridiculous.

This was our 4th Iron-A-Way in over 20 years. In all four homes the experience has been great. Iron-A-Way is easy to DIY install and always stands up to daily use. Highly recommended!

Easy to install, well built and I would recommend. Once you get over sticker shock you’ll be very pleased to not have to look at your ironing board doubling as a folding table!

Project arrived in great condition. It was a simple install since i was replacing our original one from 24 years ago. Love the upgrades that have been made.
