Working great in Ram 1500 5.7.Install was easy, bolt holes lined up, alternator looks like an alternator.Chose this one over the cheaper option because of better reviews. I will update this review if it craps out in a couple months.

Perfect fit on my 2005 Ram 1500 5.7
Came fast via Prime shipping. Installed in less than 30 mins. Easy installation on my 05 Ram, even with my crappy Craftsman tools and no breaker bar... Just two bolts and two connections on top. The hardest part was getting the old alternator out as it had been stuck in there since new. Took a little banging and prying... New alternator slipped in like a glove, perfect fit. I just reused both original bolts, sprayed a little WD40 on the threads and joints that go around the bolt hole brace mounts and easy peasy installation on my 2005 Ram 1500 5.7. So far so good, it was charging and running smooth. (Pro Shadetree Mechanic Tip: I used a bungee cord to hold tension on my serpentine belt when I took it off the alternator pulley as it makes the job quicker so the belt doesn’t loosen and come off other pulleys and have to be re-routed afterwards.)
