Reorganizing old photo albums that are literally falling apart, we needed new ideas for old 3.5 x 5's. We found this album and it seemed to check all the boxes. It holds 300 pics in compact space, it's expandable if necessary (albeit the refills are so expensive it's cheaper to buy another book), the pics slide in easily through top-loading slots, there's a spot to write a note, and it's a pretty color to boot! So far, it's working out just fine. What's best is that just a few of these reorganized books will take up about a third of the shelf space of about a dozen of the old books!

Good quality photo album and good value. Wish they'd make one with both horizontal and vertical pockets. Could not find vertical additional pages that fit this album well. Still, a good album - I purchased four and will probably buy four more when done scanning and re-mounting my old prints.

I am returning this photo album because I think it is really unattractive. I cannot comment on the sturdiness of the pages or the functionality because I have not tried to use it. I was expecting a royal blue book with blue over top to give the album cover a leather look. The color on top looks like an olive green and the gold is really shiny. If this is what you would like, great. This is the album for you. I think it looks like it's from the 60's, which is appropriate to the size of the photos I guess.

I have used this style photo album for years. I like the ease of putting my pictures in its pages and that I can get refills to make the album hold more pictures. It has a nice cover and numerous color choices.
