General Description These Rare Earth Neodymium Bar Magnets Are Made For Holding stuff & that is what They do they do best. These Grade 45 bar Magnets easily mount to non magnetic materials (wood drywall non magnetic metals) with #6 Screws. Technical Magnets Each Of These Bar Magnets Provides 31 Pounds Of Holding Power Maximum Working Temperature 176 F (80 C). Material: Sintered Ndfeb. Rating: 13 500 Gauss Pulling ForcePole Orientation: Axially Magnetized The Poles Are On The Two Flat Ends. Coating: ni+Cu+Ni 3 Layer PlatedTolerance: All The Dimensions Are +/-0.002in With Coating. These are not the magnets you played with as children 15-20 times the force of those old time magnets. Never experienced powerful neodymium magnets? Now is the time! Our rare earth magnets have a high saturation magnetization & tetragonal crystalline structure ensuring top physical pulling force & maximum energy product. These magnets hold very well against steel surfaces with direct touch and direct pull. The magnetic strength will last forever under normal use. Great for general purpose auto stuff
Almost too strong. I bought it to attach a crisis knife under the front seat of my car. It looks much cooler than those orange auto safety hammers. Gerber Crisis Hook Knife [30-000608 ] It's strong enough to hold the knife to some recessed screw heads in the trim as well - which is surprising, considering the screw heads are recessed enough that the magnet doesn't make contact with the screws. I used the second one to hold down a car dust cover that was a little too big. The dust cover catches the breeze and inflates - so far we haven't had a breeze strong enough to dislodge the cover from the magnet. Gerber Crisis Hook Knife [30-000608

Broke when separated. There are good versions put there...get those not these.
They are certainly strong. I must have looked at the picture wrong as I thought they came with screws for mounting. They don't. They should. But they also broke as I separated them (or had cracked prior). Probably too thin given their strength. Others report same problem.

Very strong magnets
They work great! I needed a way to keep the sliding screen door closed from the kittens we rescued the old latch broke in the door and I didn't want to have a new door made (This one has the pet screen so they climb up it without any damage to the screen at all) and so I chose these magnets.Truth be told I have to offset them quite a bit so that you could actually open the door.

Very strong but be careful trying to pull them apart!
Extremely strong magnets. I heard you could hurt yourself with these because they can violently snap together if you're trying to pull them apart which is not easy. I was trying to be very careful, but sure enough, they snapped together with a bit of my finger in between and I ended up with an ugly blood blister. So be careful!!! They did fulfill the purpose I had for them very nicely though.

Very good
Magnets are great! use them to hold a barn door closed that i custom built for my bathroom.. worked as expected. i bought 4 with reversing polarities and one was incorrect.. ended up only using two of the, (one set with the polarity and the countersink holes matching correctly for my application) didn't fuss with returning the incorrect one.. one set actually did a great job for what i needed.
