Blimmin Marvelous!!!
I work in a warehouse and I am on my feet for 8 hours a day. I’ve long suffered from tired feet but a few years ago we were ordered into safety boots for ‘Elf’n’Safety’ reasons. These do nothing for the health of my poor feet. I’ve tried various boots and padded them with various insoles to no great benefit. Most days, when I get home, I sit on the side of the bath and spray cold water on my feet with the hair washing attachment to cool them down. Sometimes even this is not enough and before I go to bed I have to rub ibuprofen on them or the aching keeps me awake. After reading the glowing reviews on these insoles I thought I’d try them. I ordered them late on the 2nd April and received notification that they had been dispatched the next day with an eta between 7th and 28th April. They arrived on the 5th! As it was a Saturday and my next work shift was Monday I cut them to size and put them in my slippers. It felt like walking on air. On Monday I put them in my clompy, ‘orrible, work boots and trundled off to work. I won’t say my feet weren’t tired by the end of the day, but they were nowhere near as bad as usual and after a half hour sit down they felt much better. It’s now been a month and I’ve not needed to resort to the cold spray or ibuprofen and have just ordered a second pair so that I don’t need to transfer the insoles from my work boots to other shoes if I’m going out for the evening etc. Great product and great service!

Misses the mark.
Being used to walking, hiking and so on, I've got quite resilient feet. Thought I'd give these a bash to save wear on my better trainers. The good points: cheap, fast delivery, look nice.Day one: cut to size, feel a bit odd but seem fine.Day two: still a bit odd but wearing in I guess.3 day break.Last night: After 2 hours the felt peeled off the silicon. After 4/5 hours my feet were sore, soaking and blistered. Only thing different were these pads.Changed to my non work air sole trainers for rest of the night. Bliss. Now hobbling round for new year.Buy these: if you do very little walking. If not: save for some more expensive branded shoe with an air sole.

Good for improved comfort
I was a little skeptical about these to start with as i had never tried gel insoles before but i walk a great deal so thought i would give them a try.firstly, they go in fabric side up, yes i know that may be obvious to some but not all lol. They do not take up much room in the shoe so i could just put them straight in place without removing the existing insole.I typically walk 10 miles a day and noticed a difference immediately. They definitely improve comfort and reduce the potential for aches and pains - for me at least.Pity they only go up to size 11, i am a size 12, they were a little short (but worth me getting them to try out) so have now been replaced with similar dunlop insoles.Good product -recommended

Not for me...
I don't want to give these a bad review as they are a good price, seem to be good quality and am sure they are great for certain feet. I just don't get on with them brilliantly well. I find the instep a bit high - but I guess for others with quite an arch this is exactly what they need.As they are plastic they don't breathe so I find my feet getting hot and sweaty, which is not what I want in summer deck shoes.Worth a try though!***update***Having moved from Spring to Summer these are unbearable. They are so hot I've had to take spare socks to change during the day. Now we're into July I've taken them out as it's more comfortable to have ill-fitting shoes than impossibly hot feet. Also, despite being cut to the correct size, they would ride forward about 2cm, bunching up at the toe and resulting in my heal being half on / half off. Not comfortable.

Average and size guide wrong
Got these for hubbys work boots. Checked sizing on the insole and cut for a size 10. This made them too small and would have been a perfect fit without cutting. If they do need trimming, dont take notice of the markings on the insole, just take a bit off at a time. He wore these for a few weeks (2-3) until the gel had squashed very thin in places and didn't cushion his feet anymore. He's had top end inserts, orthotic ones and everything inbetween. They do cushion, but only for a limited time dependant on how much impact you're causing. I'd rate these as ok but nothing special and certainly not long lasting as in my hubbys case.
