16 oz No Chew Spray for Dogs and Puppies, Anti Chew Spray for Dogs, Bitter Dog Deterrent Spray to Stop Chewing on Furniture

Do not spray this in your house, not only is it a dog deterrent but also a people deterrent. I sprayed this around my dining table and we had to leave the house for 2 hours everyone was coughing and gagging. Now that it is more dry it's better but just as a forewarning it is like pepperspray in a bottle!

After using several other brands of chew-deterrents, I was happy to note no obnoxious smell when I first sprayed this one. In fact there was no smell at all. However within a minute I was sneezing, coughing, and my throat felt scratchy. I thought perhaps I breathed some in when I sprayed it, so I did venture to try it again another day while keeping my nose and mouth covered until well away from the area being sprayed (the bottom piece of a dog gate - not a large area). However even with this I experienced the same symptoms just as severely . It does seem to keep the pup from chewing but I thought she was going to vomit from the one lick she got of it. I'm not sure if it is the concentration being too strong or just a specific ingredient that is an irritant but I won't be using this again - it seems too toxic.

Unfortunately all I can offer is a concrete review about the smell of this product. It is horrible for us in the house. But it does not even tickle my puppy. It does not work at all. I do not recommended and I am returning it now.

It was way too overpowering for me to spray even with a mask. I literally couldn't breathe and got choked up and coughing. It really didn't stop my puppy from chewing either.

This is like a chemical weapon. Wear a gas mask if you spray it. This should never be sold.Maybe if you wipe it on. Is this stuff even legal in the US? How do I report it to Amazon? Where's my lawyer?I'm not tearing like pepper spray, so I fear that it's worse, little droplets in my throat making us cough everywhere. Have I been permanently damaged?Reported to the CPSC.

Bought this to deter our puppy from chewing on electric cords. Just a few sprays and my ENTIRE HOUSE was like a pepper-spray bomb went off inside!!! No kidding. I'm talking we were coughing and sneezing uncontrollably within minutes. I sprayed it downstairs and people upstairs were even feeling the effects right away. It was almost funny how strong this stuff was. Thought about keeping it to prank my friends, but figured that would probably be wrong. I returned it.

One spray will have all the humans in the house leaving while coughing and choking!!! The dogs don’t seem to care about it at all! They still chew on whatever was sprayed! Save yourself the torture and buy the butter apple spray. This going in the trash!!! What a big waste of money!!!
