3M PP2500 Plain Paper Copier Transparency Film

This is first class high quality film that feeds through our Ricoh copier at high speed without jambs or difficulty. Lower price films seem to build strong static charges that cause sticking together and jambing in copiers. Also, stacking the 3M film after printing is much easier with 3M's weaker static charge build up. This 3M film costs more than some, but is the only material that I found to be functional for high speed auto feeding in our laser copier. Staples and other lower cost brands are literally unworkable for even single sheet feeding, as it jambs fairly consistently. Note that this transparency film does not have a removable sensing strip as the 3M PP2200 film.

This product is for a copy machine only. It will not work on your home printers. After reading the item description, and customer reviews, I thought I would give this a try on my home printer. Don't do it. The customer reviews stating that this does work on there printers are missleading !! You need Translucent Vellum. The item description and customer reviews need to be changed to make this known. I'm sure this will work great for COPY MACHINES. Not your home printers !!

I am only giving this four stars at ths time because I haven't used it for a printer yet. I do have an all in one printer copier fax and scanner (brother) and I have made copies which works great. I use this just to write and they erase beautifully. We use these for homeschool and they serve the purpose for that. They would work great for any school project or inter office presentation. I haven't had any problems with smears and have left some for weeks and they wipe off. I have not tried to wipe off anything I have copied onto them just because I usually need this for longer periods of time. I am happy with the purchase and would buy again.

I am hobbyist and do thing here and there,I am working on one of my project where i need to enlarge drawings.Found decent over head projector on Ebay now I needed transparency film looked at my big stationary retailer.I was surprised by the price difference so decided to buy from Amazon.I am using quite old printer HP 750 copier scanner and printer.I was skeptical about results I red in reviews that ink smudges,Interestingly I am using generic refill ink cartridge home refilled.I used copier and one page at a time results are amazingprint came out professional quality and I am one happy person with by purchase.

If I could give this a lower rating I would. Nowhere does it say on the description or on the box that it cannot be used on most printers. I used it on my inkjet printer in the hopes the image would print out just as well as another brand I used, but alas the print NEVER dried. Even days later when I checked on it, it was just as wet when it was first printed. Be forewarned, this is a MARKER ONLY transparency film.

I purchased this to create a transfer for a photo to canvas. When the printer put the ink on the transfer, it was nothing like the picture, the ink pooled together and it was a mess. I looked at several different transparencies and thought this one said ink jet, but now I see it is not listed.

Looks good when first printed. It holds the print well enough with careful handling and storage after printing. However the toner from my Brother MFC seems to rub off too easily under heavier use. Cannot be used in conjunction with dry erase or wet erase markers without smudging. Maybe other laser printers or copiers won't have this problem, but I'm a bit skeptical it's that isolated.

If you need a transparency film for xerox copiers this is the perfect film. It does exactly what it says it can do. The guys at the copy shop who helped me load it into his machine was a little skeptical because it didn't have a white line or tab on it that he's used to seeing, but we showed him. In fact, one of this paper's selling point is that it doesn't have or need that tab. I recommend this film for its intended use!
