Q: Can you use this on your back without another person's help? Or is it not designed for your back at all?

It is fantastic on your back! Because of the rigid design it is a little difficult to get the best angles without someone else.

Q: Just purchased this item from Target. I used it on on my lower body and now I have bruises all over. Has anyone had any problems with this?

Yes! I just got it and both of my upper thighs are bruised badly front and back. I ordered a tiger tail instead. This is going back. Torture device and Gaiam takes no responsibility for it.

Q: Can this be used in the shower? (I guess I'm asking if it can get wet.)

Oh yes. It feels great if you use a lotion, say one for pain help. I use it on my legs and lower back all the time. The only down side is that because it's so long, it's hard to get all the smaller areas (like the neck or close to the armpit) so I got myself another wand here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XSLFRYC. Between the 2 I'm set! Make sure you wash it after using it with any lotion though.

Q: Will it help reduce cellulite?

I could see it maybe helping with that. It's not much good as a massager, the spikes hurt too much. But could help with cellulite, maybe I'll go get mine another whirl - it's currently collecting dust!
