Q: Do i need 2 set of these for all 4 wheels or a single set is more than enough?

Most of us only use one set as you usually don't have all four wheels stuck at once, and it's more effective to combine with recovery from another vehicle (snatch strap, winch). But I would recommend two sets if you often go out alone, especially in extreme conditions. Otherwise I'd say one set is fine.

Q: Reviews of another brand repeatedly warns of the risks of melting the points should you spin the tires at all. Is there a similar concern with these?

The concern is spinning your tires. The points are actually designed to melt as to not damage the tire. I heard this from a maxtraxx rep at an expo.

Q: Can these be flipped over and used to help level your truck/camper? Could you stack them for extra height?

When using them to level a vehicle, we recommend placing them right side up (teeth up as if you were using them to recover a vehicle). Stacking them together is advised to add more support and rigidity.
