Bombproof, well-designed..
Two years on, and I've battered the heck out of this tool every week, but it still keeps going.Cutting plywood, complex shapes in heavier material, detail & brute force, trimming, sanding, whatever. Even tiles, metal & stone.Really wasn't sure what to expect as bought on a whim, but having now used several other manufacturer's multitools I'm quite content that Worx built a fine machine here.On top of the robustness & power, the blade change beats all others for simplicity, which really counts when you're switching a lot.Bit of a gushing review, but worth it. Feels like an old friend now & has got me easily out of a few things that no other type of power tool can do in so straightforward a manner. If it dies (which I'm surprised it hasn't, having been dropped from height, abused etc.), then I'd immediately buy another Worx one, which I suppose is the highest compliment I can give it.

Pleasingly versatile, and very powerful! (Review of the F50)
Having been looking at the F30 variant, snapped this up when it came on lightning deal, attracted by the bigger motor. My plumber had used one to chomp through plasterboard, and I could see that it would have its uses in some up-and-coming projects. I had some reservations based upon tool reviews, but I bit the bullet, hence the review.First off, the F50 is a beast, and has the potential roar to match when it is shifted through its six speeds, Ear protectors are recommended, particularly if using the higher speeds, although in first and second the volume is tolerable at a pinch. It comes with two cutting blades, a sanding pad and oodles of sanding sheets, as well as an additional bolt ,"used only with other oscillating tool brand sanding pads", which I suppose is useful if you are thinking of using one.The sanding plate has come in for a lot of flak, reading through other people's comments. I tried it with some trepidation, expecting it to disintegrate in quick order, but it held the pad well when I tried it on some scrap wood, trying it at varying speeds. I'm sure with practice that it is possible to get good results with this tool, but the finish was relatively scratchy , and given the size of the head I do not see myself using it much. My Makita rotary sander is my 'go-to', and that and an elderly B+D Mouse (and old-fashioned elbow grease) will be my tools of choice when sanding. That said, it is good to get the flexibility of sanding with this tool.It is in the cutting that this tool comes into its own. The speed with which it cuts through wood is remarkable, and that is at speed setting 1! Heaven knows how quick it might be at highest setting, but I was wanting control .It cut a thin (7mm) sliver from the end of a 16.5cm x 1.5cm wooden skirting board with ease, and was much easier than using a hand- or jigsaw, which would have been the alternative. The sawdust was also very contained. I was able to remove and replace old door architrave with ease and little mess, the bi-metal blade chomping through the wood (at tile level) and through the holding nails higher up. The LED lights that are attached to this model were useful here. I then used the blade to cut back into some solid plaster (a 164cm run in total). The blade chomped its merry way, and even though the teeth were wearing towards bluntness by the end, the job was certainly easier and less messy than knocking the plaster out by hand. The tool has thus far performed admirably. There is some 'blowback' from the tool, but it is not excessive. It does not appear to heat up noticeably in use, and the locking/unlocking mechanism is a breeze. The power rating may be overkill given the DIY usage that it is likely to get from myself, but I feel happy having the horses in hand, as it were. I cannot compare it to its stablemate or to other brands, but I am very happy with my purchase and can foresee many future uses for it. It was also easy to upgrade the guarantee for the machine to 3 years online.(I gave it 5 * as I was fully aware that the bulk of the bundled items were sanding sheets, and because the youtube videos of the machine in use do seem to accurately reflect its ability. I would have bought the F30 had this machine not been on offer, as I would have been hard pressed to justify the price differential between the F50 and F30 in normal circumstances).

Disappointing quality. Great customer service from Amazon
Although I knew this was not going to be a high end product I didn't think it would fail at the first use! I bought this for my husband and he used the sanding attachment. The first few sheets of sandpaper stuck on ok and then the pad completely lost its grip. We now have a multi tool without a usable sanding feature. If I could return it, I would but the return period lapsed before we noticed the problem. (I bought it a few weeks in advance as it was a gift and it was a few weeks before he had reason to use it.)We have contacted the manufacturer for support and I will update my review if they are helpful.UPDATE: Amazon exchanged the item (without any cost to me) and I am hoping the replacement is successful. Which is great customer service from Amazon but still not sure about the quality of the faulty attachment yet. An extra star to Amazon! ⭐️⭐️UPDATE: The fault happened again on the replacement item. Amazon have refunded and I have returned the item. Great Customer Service from Amazon. :)

Powerful but very few accessories and...
Been using multitools for some years now so have quite an experience with them. Ordered one today as a replacement and it looks a nice piece of kit. It holds nicely and is quite powerful. The locking mechanism is easy to use and has a tight grip.WHY 4 STARS?- Despite the manufacturer's claim that it's compatible with blades of other brands it's simply not always the case. Although the lock does have a good grip and holds blades tightly, some of the Bosch and Saxton ones wouldn't click into the teeth pattern.- The tightening mechanism is made of metal however the actual handle itself is made of plastic which isn't that thick so it's prone to breaking at some point- it comes with only 2 blades, one tiny sanding attachment and a bolt for attaching sanding attachments of other brands, all packed in a small plastic case. Other manufacturers are more generous.

Possibly the best tool I have ever bought
Can’t believe how useful this tool has been since I got it. Cut though a skirting board, sanded down awkward areas, cut a pipe, cut laminated floor, removed tiles, removed old plaster and glue from walls and floor. Not sure how I managed without it but used almost every day since I’ve got and seems to be no end to situations where it comes in handy.Fantastic quality, feels really solid. Like others have commented, tools that come with it not great quality (wear out very quickly) but easily solved with a set/kit from Screwfix. Buy it - you definitely won’t regret this purchase and you’ll quickly get through all those odd jobs you meant to do but have left because you don’t have the right tool.
