Sun Shade
Perfect for the patio! With the 12 x 50 size, I will be able to cover the entire upper portion of my patio for about 3 years. Well worth the money. Product is well made, durable and the wheat color is really nice. Really helps with the 90 degree temperatures!

It’s saving the paint on our cars
We use this as a roof over our carport and it’s a game changer! There’s no shade in our yard, but using this has made a huge difference in keeping our cars cool, and I’m sure saving the paint jobs.

Love it
I used this to protect my car in my car port. I had to pay someone to put it up for me, but I am so happy I got it. It really does cut down on the dust from the vacant lot next to me.

Some helpful tips
We used this to cover a pergola. It was 9 inches too wide and way longer than we needed. I used three tables, end to end, to lay out the fabric. I started with the sides. The selvages were easy to fold up, 4.5 inches on each side, by measuring, folding, and clipping about 1 foot apart (I used quilting clips but you could use pins or binder clips). Using a small rolling pin I flattened the fold between the clips, then moved the clips a bit and finished flattening the crease. Match the tiny stripes in the fabric to be sure you are squaring up. This crease will really hold once rolled. Make sure the fabric is on a piece of scrap plywood and apply E6000 glue between the selvage and the fabric. Glue will get under the fabric, hence the reason for the wood below. Don't use cardboard. Place another piece of wood all along the top of the glued selvage edge (I used scrap 2 x 4s). Let dry about 18 hours. Pull the fabric off the wood. It will stick. I used luan plywood and some of the surface came off, but I was able to pick it off the fabric easily. For this reason, I would recommend plain old plywood. Repeat for the second selvage side. The cut edges are more challenging as they fray. I needed 14 feet of length. On the factory cut end (which was NOT straight) I used a try square and lined it up with the prepared selvage edge, making a mark with a sharpie. I continued to use the square, lining it up with the tiny lines in the fabric and drawing my line for 14 feet. When I got to the end, I was still square - YEAH!! I cut along the line with a rotary cutter to prevent fraying, then repeated the gluing technique above, making a 2 inch hem. On the final side, I measured 14 feet + 2 inches from both hemmed ends and again used the square and the tiny lines to get a straight line.Lastly, I put grommets through the double folds on the ends to attach bungee cords. We weave the cover over and under the slats of the pergola due to wind issues.Hope this helps!
