So my hair is a nightmare. It's naturally curly, which puts me back in the 80s (ohhhh the 80's) without me even trying... and that's not always a good thing when your daughter is 16.... anyway. My oldest told me that she only uses conditioner on her ends, and rarely uses shampoo. This tactic has been a GAME CHANGER for my hair, and I have tried everything! So try washing your hair with shampoo & conditioner, and the next day if you wash it (which I do every day, I sleep like a tornado, so I have too) just use a little bit of conditioner, no shampoo. The next day, use a different conditioner, or maybe a mask that you can leave on for 5 minutes, but NOT VERY MUCH or your hair will feel heavy & greasy.... then on day 4 or 5, use the shampoo & conditioner and repeat. I wish she had told me this years ago. I know washing every day is bad, but I was raised that way, and it's a hard habit to break, but with this tactic, I can actually use dry shampoo some days too.
