This is lovely and very expensive looking. The color and the quality look absolutely real, at least for the first 3 times I have worn it. It is a nice size - not too tiny and not too huge, and I have gotten compliments on it each time I have worn it. I am actually impressed. I don't wear a lot of fake metal jewelry, but this looks like the real deal! I did receive this item at a discount for my unbiased review. I wanted this necklace so I could have something simple that could go with anything, as most of the ones I currently have have colored gemstones or a design that would only match certain things. I think it does a pretty good job at that.The gold plating definitely looks more rosy than the picture suggests, but not too much that it would look off paired with gold earrings or rings. The design is very uniform, the finish is also very uniform, in the picture it looks like it would be more dull and rough but it isn't.
