I have had them installed about a month and the water has little or no taste to it which is half the battle but until it is tested won't know how effective the filter is on our water. Easy to install and fits well. Once water is tested will come back to report. The price is better than the name brand.

Of the four I have used, 2 have failed. Water does not dispense after installation. I guess is that the filtration materials become compressed and form an obstruction rather than allowing water through.

This product fit the refrigerator without problems and was sold at a great price. After running about two gallons of water the filtered water cleared and was usable. I hope that it lasts as long as the product claims it will last. Worth the cost as of now.

Product on Amazon says it is NSF 42/53 it is in fact on NSF42 for forclorine and NSF 42 for material safety and structural integrity. It works fine to reduce chlorine smell and taste but not all the other minerals. Made in China ( PROC} So at $9.50 each it is cheap and that is why it still gets 3 stars.

Real happy with these. The refrigerator manufacturer asks 5-6x $ more for the same product. At this price, I can change them more frequently than the schedule the refrigerator manufacturer suggests, and that will be a comfort for some people who are persnickety about the quality of their filtered water.

Works as advertised (I think). I haven't tested the water to determine if it really removes what it claims to. But it appears to be functioning normally. Water flow is good. Installation is easy. Price was good.

Been putting off getting a new filter but the kids said the water tastes funny. So I ordered these and now it's like night and day. Water tastes a lot better. Will definitely order more.

Great product so far and it matched perfectly with my refrigerator. Also a great price for two.

I found the filter very difficult to install. I think the center hole on the replacement filter is fractionally smaller than the center hole on the original filter and this makes it very difficult to push the filter up into place before it can be twisted and locked into place. It did not go on as easily as the original. I ordered 2 and if the 2nd one doesn't go on any easier than the first I won't be re-ordering.
