These are top quality pieces that are sure to last for many years.Yes, this is technically one place setting for one single person. I don't find the product description deceiving in the least. It specifically states (and shows in the photos) what you're receiving.A total of four pieces comes in this professionally packaged box:· Large plate· Medium sized plate· Bowl· Coffee mugI love the simple colors used: white and navy blue. They're easy to match to your existing kitchen decor. Uneven polka dots cover the entire coffee mug as well as the outside of the large plate. They look more like smudged fingerprints actually. Very unique and flawlessly done. The crooked, imperfect looking flowers are my absolute favorite though. They're classy and cute instead of being an obnoxious floral design that is so common with dish sets these days.The large size plate is somewhat bigger than my old large plates. I can't even get them to fit into my kitchen cabinets but it's worth making a special spot for them since they're so excellent in quality and design.The bowl is deep, perfect for anything from soup to cereal to salad.The price is admittedly quite steep but considering the name and the quality of the product, they're well worth it.

Combine designer Kate Spade with Lenox dinnerware and you get exactly what I'd expect: fantastic product! The colors on my plate are contemporary and unique. Each dot on my coffee mug is different too- not lined up in straight rows but uniquely styled like an artist's palette. I found the shape of the mug handle somewhat unique too, and I like it!I paired my plates with a tablecloth and then with weave placemats. It looks best on solid linens, as shown in my photos. Plates have bright white background and navy blue art. Festive and fun, I'm looking forward to adding to my plate collection and set.

My daughter took a similar set to her dorm and I'm sure our other daughter will take this one, as she is joining her older sister at Swathmore.Kate Spade has a way to enter your mind with their art. Just received these and they are so pretty! I especially love the large dinner plate and the bowl. Yes, this is only one place setting and that means a whole dinner service would be pretty pricey, but these are investment pieces meant to be kept for years and passed on to others. Lenox is such a good brand and the quality shows in these dishes, as conveyed by the weight and feel. I look forward to adding to my collection over time.

I bought the “Fruit Bowl” to put my fresh produce in. It is NOT the correct size for that. It is WAY SMALLER (more like a jewelry dish). I am sad. BUT it’s cute so it still gets 3 stars.

Funky flowers and crooked polka dots decorate these blue and white plates which makes for a playful casual look. The quality of the dishes is high with a deep bowl and a mug comfortable in the hand. Yes, they are expensive--the price is for one place setting, but these are quality and designed to be used for many years. Lennox offers a breakage replacement program at 50% off for registered owners which may make this a good investment for some.
