I got these to mount some lights to the bars on my motorcycle. When they arrived I was extremely through in making sure I read the instructions. I selected the correct spacers for my 1" bars and went to installing them. Being a mechanic I knew to tighten one screw a bit, then the other, then back to the first, and so on. You know, tightening them down evenly. It's only a 2 screw installation, nothing really difficult there.Problem is, when I was approaching "tight", that being the point where the rubber was actually able to prevent rotation of the clamp, the threads failed on one of the clamp's holes. The problem, I believe, is that they're using aluminum clamps with steel screws. The screw, being stronger than the threads in the hole, it's easy for the threads in the hole to fail. It would have been a much better decision to have a slot where you slide in a nut, and the bolt grabs the nut instead of directly threading into the aluminum clamp. Could have easily maintained the same appearance, improved durability, and ensured thread failures are limited to hardware and not the actual clamp.The company offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee, which I'm took advantage of. After sending them a photo of the damaged threads, and the receipt from Amazon, they're sending me a replacement. Poor design, but good service. I'd recommend some kind of thread-lock during your installation, just to strengthen them a bit.

Brackets are made of very lightweight die-cast mystery metal. I bought these to fit the advertised 2 inch pipe. The brackets come in two pieces - one with a screw boss that fits the 2 inch pipe. The second half WILL NOT fit 2 inch pipe without grinding off portions of the metal...looks like it was designed for 1.75 inch pipe. Be warned you WILL scratch your paint trying to install these on 2" pipe.

Estos soportes se ven y se sienten de buena calidad, así mismo las reducciones de hule que vienen, todavía no los instalo, ahí me daré cuenta si realmente sirven para las medidas que menciona.Lo que no me gustó es el acabado, la pintura es muy burda, y el metal no esta pulido como debería, se le ven las marcas de la maquinaria que utilizaron para fabricarlos. Ya había comprado varios artículos de esta marca y la calidad de sus acabados no es excelente y deja mucho que desear, no obstante tienen buena funcionalidad, debido a lo anterior decidí NO comprar una barra de luz led de esta marca para no arriesgarme con la calidad y busque de una marca mas reconocida y la compre.

I went to install these, and one of the 2 mounts were 100% not usable. The holes that the bolt goes into had no threads and the screws fell right thru. Absolutely no way to use it! I spent 4 weeks waiting for this to show up since canada post lost the first package. Definitely not impressed. It's not worth the hassle to return over $20 so I will eat the cost. Just letting others know not to purchase this

La construcción de estos soportes es robusta y algo tosca, considerando que son materiales de soporte es comprensible, pero siempre agradezco cuando la estética es primordial. Funcionan correctamente e incluyen gomas para adaptarlos a diferentes diámetros de tubulares, aunque yo recomiendo que sean usados en tubos gruesos ya que en 1" se ven algo burdos. La goma permite un movimiento que hacen sentir raro el soporte. En uso con faros de la misma marca funcionan correctamente y la apariencia ya instalados no es tan fea como me parecían al principio.
