This blow dryer puts the rest to shame and has been doing this for decades of my life. The first time this was used on me, I was 8 years old at a hair salon. Every single hair salon I have been to in NYC uses this blow dryer and I have had my hair done in all 5 boroughs. Now I am 30 and I bought this blow dryer to do my daughter type 4A hair. She unfortunately contracted head lice from pre school and so the "curly" look is now out as I need to be able to look through her hair and part it with ease on a regular basis.A wash and set for my 3 year old cost 50 bucks, yes FIFTY DOLLARS to get it done professionally. It was literally killing my pockets taking her there week after week. Finally I said, screw this maybe I can do it myself. And I can. My daughter's hair looks professionally done every single time I blow it out and this passed Thursday was the 3rd time I did it by myself. She has a head FULL of hair, literally it is so thick. I can blow dry her hair bottom to top in under 45 minutes. I flat iron it in 1 hour flat. That's miracle timing. To untangle her hair it used to take me 3-5 hours. Now I can style and untangle it in a much shorter time knowing the right hair products to use and the right blow dryer and flat iron. So if you are reading this and your child or you have 4A-4C hair I am about to give you the best advice you will ever get in your life right now.First the obvious... Don't waste your time buying another blow dryer. Buy this one. Many companies make them, conair, Dianne, etc.Good quality round brush.Shampoo and Condition normally. After conditioning hair normally... Use "Emergencia Volume Control Treatment" next. Leave on hair 3 minutes. wet hair (not rinse off) and use a Wide Rake comb (or wide tooth comb) to untangle your hair. Should be easy no matter your hair type and should take minutes. literally minutes. Then after you untangle, rinse off Emergencia.After this, ring hair out. Do not towel dry. I do not recommend towel drying type 4A to 4C hair because it dries out so quickly. I have better results when I do not towel dry.Then part hair down the middle.Then pump the leave in conditioner. Be super generous. I usually pump 5-6 times just for 1 side of my daughters hair. Should look like 3 quarters full of white cream of your hand.Then while the leave in conditoner is in your hand, mix it in with the Razac polishing gloss. Be generous as well. I would say it should be about a 60-70% leave in conditioner and 30-40% of razac polishing gloss in your hand. You mix both together with your hands and you apply to one side of hair. Do the same on the other side, then clip that side back up (the side you aren't blow drying yet)Then begin to blow dry using the paddle brush. This is how the salon has done my daughters hair. Works great at home as well. Dry thoroughly, pay close attention to the roots or hair by the scalp as that needs to be dried completely. Properly blow drying the hair is key especially by the roots. I go between using the paddle brush and the round brush to get to the roots better. I begin from top to bottom at first, but once I notice the top is dried mostly, i begin to section it off in 3 parts and dry from the bottom to the top, to make sure the roots and hair is completely dry from root to tip. Then I start on the other side and do the same. IAfter hair is dry, I part it again in 2 parts. Then i go in small sections of 1-2 inches and flat iron her hair using the HSN flat iron. I start from the bottom to the top using hair clips to keep flat ironed hair away from un-flat ironed hair. I use a fine tooth comb to untangle in between swipes. And just me saying that gives me the shivers cuz I would have never dared to use a fine tooth comb on my daughter before a month ago but I can use it when her hair is dry now with ease.After I flat iron, my daughter's hair looks absolutely amazing. She is also autistic. She calmly sits in her Minnie Mouse chair and allows me to blow dry and flat iron her hair as long as I play the Bubble Guppies on amazon prime on the big screen TV she could care less. I even added a pic so you can see her hair. That was after the first time of me blowing it out and flat ironing it. Her hair is so beautiful and long its just amazing what a good blow dryer, good hair products and a good flat iron can do.

This hair dryer is amazing!!! I have long natural 4B hair which is very curly.However, my hair is not kinky. Some stylist in the Dominican salons are not careful, causing heat damage and breakage,so I like having control over the amount of heat applied to my hair. Finally, I did a Goggle search to find the hair dryer the Dominican salons (Brooklyn) use to get my hair straight.This hair dryer does 95% of the work. You don't have to be a hairstylist or have any sort of natural gift for hair to get the professional results. I use the round brush method for blowing drying. The high level of this blow dryer is extremely hot, which would no doubt straighten the coarsest mane. It is heavier than one of the $15-20 hair dryers, but I believe it is a reflection of the quality and durability. Great Investment!!! Now that I own the best, there is no turning back.

I bought this dryer based on a recommendation from my stylist and have found it to be a good purchase, for the most part. A few things to note:Pros- Fast drying time- High heat without frying hair- Doesn't overheat and leaves hair smooth and frizz-free- Multiple temperature/power options, so works well for a variety of hair typesCons- The biggest annoyance for me was that the concentrator attachment falls off regularly mid-drying, rendering it unusable- The temperature/power controls are located directly on the handle and it's too easy to unintentionally switch them around while drying- The dryer is a tad heavy, as others have mentioned (but I think this actually forces you to have better control)Overall, I think this a high quality dryer for the price and have recommended it widely to friends. I was most disappointed with the attachment not fitting properly, but I have found the dryer to be so gentle on my hair that I haven't missed the concentrator much.

I receive this blow dryer on a Sat. and used it on Sunday. I was super excited with the results. I have shoulder length, relaxed, thick hair. I am 6 weeks into my relaxer so I was hoping that this dryer could really get my hair straight to were my hair would look decent.I was very pleased with the end results. I don't think another dryer has gotten my hair as straight.I hope to continue to be satisfied.
