I’m really pleased with this volume. I bought the Audio too and find it much more enjoyable for my kids.....really excited to go through The Story of the World with my kiddos

I like it because it has ancient history in a story telling manner. It is easy to read and understand.

Since it does not say this, I wanted to make it clear, this book bases it's "history" off of Bible stories and presents them as fact, while also condemning other religions. If you are not looking for a religious version of history, then do not buy!

Fits my homeschool "style" perfectly. Allows us to move at own pace and add resources or keep it simple as time/passion/ grade level allows! My kiddo is enjoying the combo of info with narrative and the crafts and activies they get to do to solidify the learning of our history!

Amazing series. Just started my daughter on this a couple of months ago and she can't get enough. The story format is engaging and very informative. My daughter loves to write and I always have a difficult time getting her to be more concise. The narrations in the workbook have helped a great deal in pinpointing the main points and helping her write a brief narration. Highly recommend these books. They provide a wealth of resources to further research each topic if interested and the projects are wonderful as well.
