Tantalum Capacitors 10uF 35V 2 Pin Radial Dipped Tantalum Capacitors - Pack of 10pcs- (G7.23)

I used these to replace old tantalums on a 486 board, as a precaution since they often explode and can lead to further damage. Guess what happened? I power cycled the board a few times, and one of these new tantalums blew up. It was the correct orientation and rating. Luckily the board is ok, but wow. Always buy brand-name tantalums from a reputable dealer, folks.

Caps not as advertised. As advertised clearly shows 10uf and 35v on the tantalum cap. What I received has polarity clearly marked but not the cap value. See associated photo. Testing proved they are 10uf. But voltage value is not known for sure. Only using these for for low voltage application so ok, however would be acceptable under other conditions.

These 10uF (35 Volt) nonpolar precision tantalum capacitors are just the thing for your preamplifier and power amplifier inputs. These capacitors admit wide spectrum audio signals in while blocking destructive direct current leakage. They are clearly marked and sealed in a leakproof shell.
