I am using the 800 and 1000 grit as a final sand. You can't tell what is 800 vs 1000 but for my furniture refinishing it doesn't matter. I cut the sponges to desired size, the size of each sponge exceeded expectations.

This product does what it's supposed to do. I use it to finish off sanded wood prior to painting. The sponge middle layer makes it comfortable to use on both flat and curved surfaces, and the grit on two sides extends the use of each pad.

Sanding sponges are as advertised. The superfine is very close to 320 grit.

These worked great for wet sanding my fiberglass boat.

I bought these in Superfine grit, which promised around 1000 grit. This is not at all 1000 grit. it is 120-180 grit. the quality seems fine, that is, if you want to work with the wrong grit. returning product immediately.
