When I received the package, almost the one whole side was open, but nothing seems to be missing. The design of this is great. It sits fairly flat on the surface but swivels very easily. Since I just got it yesterday, I haven't used it a lot yet, but so far it works great and is so easy, since there are only two parts. I paid more to get the OLFA brand because it is usually a really quality product. The price is high, but I think over time, it will be worth it.

I have developed arthritis in my hands and wrists as I have aged, but I'm not ready to give up quilting and garment sewing. This makes it possible for me to cut out circles or any other curve without aches and pains!Just turn the mat instead of your wrist!

This product could be fantastic - I bought it for all the reasons advertised. I've only begun using it within the past 3 1/2 months; thus, the reason for delayed review. However, after using it only a very short time the lines on the mat have rubbed off. I can even scratch the measurement lines off with my fingernail. I have had a large Olfa mat for years and have never had this problem. Love the features - Just wish I the measurement lines didn't come off with use. Considered purchasing the 12x12 also but now not sure.

After a year of use, mine is still looking great and has worked perfectly for my needs.

This mat is of great construction, with standing use as I bought it some time ago. Its a great size and very easily rotates in whatever direction or angle needed. Thanks to seller and as I remember packaging very secure.

the olfa 12x12 spinning rotary mat is really good and is quite a useful addition to my sewing equipement.The only down side is when i recievedthe item i had to pay an import handling charge of £14.00 before i could get it,This was not mentioned when i ordered the item. But as i got it at areduced price it was still a good bargain
