OK so it's not the sturdiest, but once assembled it fired right up and works great. My only minor complaint is that there are not enough rocks to cover the burner - would love to have the burner set slightly lower and have additional rocks. On this one, the burner sets fairly close to the height of the cover so even if I purchase and add more rocks, they will then prevent the lid from setting down fully.

Got this product to be able to have a fire in the evenings without needing wood and having the smoke smell in the air.

The unit looks good and lit up the first time. - my first time using a propane fired unit (always used charcoal in my grill). As with anything related to assembling, Take your time and make sure every screw/bolt can be turned without tools (finger tight) before tightening up the base & door. This will make attaching the burner much easier.

I chose this item based on how it looked in the video but more specifically how easy they made it look to set up. Where I am disappointed is in how thin the walls are (don't lay them down and put any weight on them as they will easily bend) but mostly in how tight the alignments of the holes the screws go in vs the holes, they screw into. Nowhere as easy as video shows doing a few so effortlessly. I think the holes the screws go through before being threaded into the female threads should be slightly elongated and lock washers included so that slack can then be secured. The way it is now if any screws are even slightly hand tight then you won't line up others easily. I stripped one female already being impatient with how long it's taking to put it together. I think the slatted clean smooth surface in the video really shows it off but its sides are thinner than they are assumed. I don't have it together yet to know more. I hate giving negative reviews but how else will the seller know or other buyers. I'm giving it 4 stars as I still think it will work and look ok once together. The seller should increase wall thickness by 20-25% and advertise that. Also lastly they are just a little skimpy with how many lava heat rocks they provide. I'll have to buy a few more as not enough to not see gaps in the rock and see the metal below it.

Fire table malfunctioned, wouldn't stay lit. Couple replaced thermocouple. Functioned for 1 hour. Got my second thermocouple ready for installation. Beware.

Easy to put together & works well.

I am very handy with tools and should have been able to put this together without any issue. Ikea furniture is childs play to my craftsmanship however, this thing is a nightmare to put together. Its super simple but the panels do not line up. It takes an enormous amount of fenagling to get things to fit right and at the end of it, it wont go together right so don't try.I do not know if it was my particular unit that just skipped QC but all said and done the door is so off it will not come close to closing. The welds are horribly done on this as well. Once in place though I don't really notice the imperfections as it sits outside on our patio. All in all we have really enjoyed it and it works as intended. You get what you pay for I guess.I would recommend this to a friend only if I didn't have to help put it together.
