Update: whatever the intermittent problem was before it has now corrected and it is great. It stays bright for hours, even after I’ve gone to bed (and I’m a night owl). It has stayed out on my garden coffee table all through winter and is working brilliantly.Hmmm, when this works it is fab and gives off a very pretty pattern just like the images in the product description. However, it’s very hit and miss and have to give it a tap every so often.

I have a few solar-powered lanterns in the garden. I've reviewed quite a lot of similar products, and here's what I can say about Robotime Solar Powered Lantern.It has a rustic look, which I like, but it has a relatively small solar panel. It must be strategically placed where it can capture natural light, so it will effectively light up when it gets dark.It has an on/off button under the solar panel. It turns on automatically when it gets dark.It's not made to light up a significant area outdoor, but it's more decorative-type.

Beautiful retro designed outdoor hanging light. And the best part about this light is that it’s solar powered.Therefore, this gorgeous light chargers itself during the day if you hang the light in the right direction and while absorbing the light, at night the retro styled light shines bright through the night.Depending on the amount of sun light the retro lamp catches, that will be how much light it will shine out at night. During these winter times, the light does not give out 6-8 hours of light at night because there isn’t much sun outside.It’s easy to use and understand as it’s really straightforward. There’s a switch for turning off and on, then you just sit back and enjoy the show with no extra cost to you and your garden looking spectacular.

This is a lovely little solar powered lantern. It has a bronze/copper type colour to it, looks slightly rustic but doesn’t look cheap. The inside is hollow and it’s quite light weight.There’s a small solar panel on the top and a simple on/off button. You have to keep it switched on and in sunlight to charge. It’s winter but I tested it by leaving it on a window sill during the day, and in the evening it gave off a gentle little glow, which looks very pretty with the cut out pattern from the lantern as you can see in my picture.Will make a nice addition to a garden or indoor on a bright window sill.

It's not clear how the switch works as it looks the same whether on or off. A bit unpredictable in terms of how long the light lasts. It's not very bright so ornamental rather than functional. Very pretty lamp although I found it a bit disconcerting that you can't see the light source without inverting the lamp and peering into the top. Well made and neatly finished - no hint of a sharp edge.

its a beautiful solar light that has a great pattern, the light itself is not too bright but its been working during the winter when we dont get lots of sunlight so that is good, i am very pleased with the quality and the looks are gorgeous i love it
