Swing-N-Slide Swing N Slide NE 5041 Stand Up Swing

I would give this swing board a 5 star review with the exception of a couple of things...this is outdoors, and every time it rains, it wells up with water, in the foot-holds. Over time, when not in use, it gets slimy/mildew builds up, which is a safety hazard. If it had drainage holes, it would be much better and safer.The other thing that in my opinion, is a safety hazard, which we rigged up...the chains are way longer than what we needed for my child to stand on. We have a larger little tykes swing set, and replaced one of two swing seats, with this foot board swing, and the chains are so long at the top, that we had to loop them over the top bar twice, and they still have another loop created where the coated part starts. I don’t have bolt cutters, but I’d imagine that you would need them to properly use the right length on the swing.

This looks like it would be a fun swing if we could ever get it together. The first one we ordered came with V hangers looking like they were used, partly corroded, wrapped in some kind of saran wrap instead of in proper packaging. We went ahead and tried to assemble it anyway and there was a problem with one of the threads on one of the hangers where the nut would not screw all the way on. So we ordered a replacement and they sent a whole new unit and these V-hangers look shiny and new, but still came in the weird saran wrap packaging. Unfortunately, again there is a problem with one of the threads on one of the V hangers where the nut can’t go all the way on.So now I need to decide whether to use the one used / corroded V-hanger or request yet another replacement. I’m not impressed!!!

Only had for a few months. Not even an everyday used swing. The metal part connecting the swing to the chain came off! This swing was for a 4 year old and a 7 year old....Would love to hear how to fix it!

This is perfect for wiggly kids. It makes their swing set time a little more varied. All the kids like it, from my 30lb 3 year old all the way to my 80lb 11 year old.

Great idea and if it held more than 115 lbs I would try it! Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little while for the kids to grow enough to get the coordination to use it - hence the 4 stars. I tip the bottom to vertical so rain can drain off the foot wells so no mold or stagnant water pools.
