Broil King 11221 Exact Fit Cast Iron Griddle, Signet and Crown (Prior to 2006) Series Grills, Black

I have a large commercial gas grill, that can produce temperatures easily above 700 degrees F. I wanted a cast iron element for certain cooking techniques, i.e., burgers, blackened chicken, grilled veggies, etc.. I was drawn to the size and weight of this product and so I purchased. I seasoned the Griddle and brought it up to an extremely high temperature. It did not crack or split and has worked wonderfully for over a year. I can highly recommend this griddle to anyone looking for a cast iron alternative to grilling.

Makes great smash burgers on the grill.

I put it on top of the cooking grates on my old weber genesis and it worked great. I am pleased that I didn't have to purchase any special fit flat top.

It has mass, retains and spreads heat well.I wish it had a bit more natural tiltThe drain from the well is a tad too high retaining too much grease.I am trying to figure out a way I can design a drain system on my grill to let the grease run down to a bucket ... it's not an issue if you do 6 paddies , but do 20+ and you end up with a bonfireIt is not the griddles fault, but if it had a forward spout it would be so easy - lol

Fits my Broil King Signet perfectly. Expands the usefulness of the grill a lot. Recommended/would buy again.

Used for the first time turned on over low heat within two minutes heard a loud pop and seen it completely cracked down the middle. 0 stars if I could absolute trash.

I replaced 1 of my cooking grates with this griddle so I can use one side for grilling and this griddle for anything else from veggies to beef patties. It would probably work great for pizza as well. This is a very good quality product that doesn't need to be seasoned since it's porcelain coated. The coating also prevents it from rusting so I can leave it in my grill at all times.
