I enjoyed assembling this project. It was my first project of this kind. It was designed very well. The instructions were mostly clear diagrams. Pay attention to the details in the diagrams, or assembly might be a tiny bit off. There were a few times that things got a bit confusing, but I eventually got it right. The parts are very precisely cut. They can be delicate and break if you are heavy handed. Working carefully and not rushing is the key. I didn't use any extra tools other than what was provided. Glue was not necessary and I probably wouldn't recommend it . It holds together pretty well on it's own.The ferris wheel turns great. I love that it can be solar powered or battery powered. The solar panel has to be in direct sunlight to work. It moves pretty fast under the sun but stops with just a shadow over the panel. Indirect sunlight does not provide enough power. The solar panel is tiny. Maybe a larger one would provide enough power in the shade. So it will probably not do much unless it's somewhere in the house with direct sunlight. I didn't try the batteries.

My son’s only hobby is video games, recently diagnosed with ADHD, The doctor recommended less video games, and told me about these type of puzzles, I decided on this one because it was the most affordable option.To my surprise he really enjoyed completing this. I look forward to finding more choices for him in the future.. it came beautifully boxed so can make a terrific gift.The instructions were easy to follow, he’s 12 years old, and was able to complete it without help.Took about 30 minutes and was gratified to see it run completed. I was also pleased to see the glue and a piece of coarse sand paper to remove possible rough spots.Very pleased with this purchase overall, and I would recommend it to family and friends!

The media could not be loaded. Can to put together, but instructions not so good. Missing the holder for solar panel. Recommend using an exacto knife to separate parts and shave off burss. A couple parts, broke but was easy to glue back together. No instructions for power supply. Make sure you have aa batteries. All in all I'm happy with my end result. Would have given 5 stars but parts were missing, and instructions were poor

I bought this for my son who is on the autism spectrum. He loves puzzles and often builds his own creations out of cardboard. I wanted something that he could assemble on his own, but would be engaging enough to hold his attention for a while. He loved putting it together and showed it off to all of his friends. Please remember to read the instructions because this is definitely not something that can just be thrown together by instinct. It also includes glue and sandpaper for any rough edges. It's a very nice piece and the marble run is fascinating to watch.

While I appreciated assembling this product and gluing the parts together while video recording the act, the fact that the solar powered display wasn't operable regardless if I'd put in some batteries in its container kind of left a bad taste in my mouth to where I should caution you about this little misfire before you buy this product.

The media could not be loaded. This was my first 3D puzzle so I didn’t want to spend a lot. I must say this product gave the marbles in my head a great run for the $. I’m hooked!

Great to watch run. My husband loves building solar toys. Fun little projects for him to assemble.
