Crystals are beautiful! I was looking for some holiday gifts, and I remembered studying rocks in my fifth-grade science class, during which everyone brought in rocks to display. One of my fellow students brought in a beautiful clear quartz crystal. And I thought to myself, crystals would make wonderful gifts! But I had already given clear quartz crystals to the persons for whom I was shopping. So I bought these purple amethyst crystals instead.These crystals are quite large -- about an inch or more in width! And they have interesting planar phantoms -- networks of cracks that are a natural part of the crystal. The color ranges from a light purplish tint to a deep purple. Interesting additions to a rock collection. The darker ones would appear rather opaque if it weren't for the naturally-occurring cracks in the crystals, which give them a more transparent and crystalline appearance. In this way the planar phantoms enhance the beauty of the crystal.

The crystal I received had 8 sides, was about a whole inch shorter than advertised and had a clear crack line through the middle of it. I don't know if it had been damaged during transit from India, or if it had been glued before and just didn't hold, or if the temperature difference, from bringing it into the warm house and handling it split it, but within 30 minutes I held 2 half's in my hand.When I ordered the system told me that it was the last available crystal. I wouldn't have ordered the last available crystal if I would have known that I get just "a crystal" not the described crystal, very disappointing, but returning it takes too much of my time.

Absolutely stunning amethyst. It is so beautiful! I can't stop looking at it and holding it.This is my second purchase from Crystal Allies and once again I am not disappointed in the least.This amethyst was wrapped much better than my last specimen. It came wrapped and taped securely in bubble wrap in a drawstring bag.Couldn't be more pleased and I will definitely continue to purchase crystals from Crystal Allies.Highly recommend them and their specimens. Each is unique, and I always try to remember that the one I receive is the one that I'm meant to have :)

Excellent stone - great clarity and color. It had become a pillar on my alter. I use it for a meditation I call pink rain. A person sends love to mother earth as a ray of red light stretching to the top of the atmosphere. Then it is met with a ray of white light from God changing it to pink, and wraps itself around the whole world. Then it falls back to earth as pink rain....with each drop, whatever it strikes is 1st given Gods love, 2nd God gives whatever it needs the most at that time. There are no boundaries, no nationalities excluded, no religion excluded, all peoples, all beasts are included, all plants, and mother earths soil - for we depend on her for our very existence. Love and peace to all!

I love it. Perfect size and I can't wait to program it:) Mine is NOT clear. But it has so many rainbows in it! Pictures cannot do this piece justic. It has a part that looks like a fracture started, thus giving the crystal so much character Inside and out. I connected to this quartz right away. I will order more to see what comes my way. however, if you are looking for a perfectly clear, perfectly faceted quartz point, ordering here would be a gamble.

So I bought these rose-quartz crystals to give to the birthday kids.These crystals are quite large -- about an inch or more in width! And they have interesting planar phantoms -- networks of cracks that are a natural part of the crystal. Rose quartz is a rather translucent cloudy substance, and a thick rose-quartz crystal appears rather opaque. Cracks in the crystal actually give it a more transparent and crystalline appearance. In this way the planar phantoms enhance the beauty of the crystal.

I bought the set of three (Amethyst, Clear and Rose Quartz) and I love them. They're bigger than 2 inches tall and 1 inch wide. The Rose Quartz is a little over 3 inches tall. I don't know much about crystal quality but these are just beautiful. Especially the clear quartz. It looks like glass on the top but then has a really striking cloudy design near the base.

These stones are so pretty! They fit perfectly in the palm of my hand and they make a great centerpiece for crystal grids. The clear quartz is perfectly clear with some really interesting patterns inside. It's shorter than the amethyst and rose quartz, but wider as well. The amethyst is a light purple, but very bright and sparkly. The rose quartz is a very pale pink, not like the picture, but that's typically how rose quartz is.
