Star Wars: The Lightsaber Collection

Uppriktigt förvånad. Jättefin bok som täcker det mesta om lasersvärden i Star Wars Universumet. Fina bilder är det också. Ett tips till dig som skall ha boken för displaying, använd skyddshandskar, fett fastnar lätt.

This is a very fascinating, well-presented 154 page hard cover book. Our young padawan spotted the book in a bookstore and put it on his birthday list. It contains excellent depictions of a vast range of lightsabers - from the well-known heroes and villains but also from more obscure characters from the comics and games. It even depicts and describes a lightsaber from the New Republic. Each lightsaber comes accompanied by a little text.The problem is that is suggests to be the ‘definitive’ book on lightsabers. Well, there is very little definitive about Star Wars these these day - always in motion the future is! I can guarantee you that in the huge and still expanding Star Wars universe more lightsabers have been wielded than described in this book. And the problem with all the new material coming out (TV series like the Mandalorian, Obi Wan, Ahsoka, at least one new movie and video games in production) the book will miss some lightsabers of new main characters soon. Just think about the many new Jedi introduced in the New Republic material.Nevertheless this is a very nice to have book, at a reasonable price (£15). It is a great source of reference for all Star Wars fans and makes a perfect, geeky coffee table book, in particular if you are an avid lightsaber collector such as general Grievous, who sadly passed away much too soon.The final lightsaber duel between Anakin and Count Dooku was the best duel - Hands down :-) Oh, and lastly I just wanted to ask you, since this is not in the book: where did Kylo Ren get his light saber? - At the Darth Mall!

Libro friki donde los haya, pero si eres fan, imprescindible. Por su originalidad, abundante información y por su calidad de edición. La portada tiene un acabado original, como si fuese de goma, y la impresión interior es impecable. Al ser todas las páginas negras, mejor tener las manos muy limpias si no quieres dejar marcas. El tamaño es menor de lo esperado, pero mejor, así no ocupa tanto ;)

Libro a dir poco fenomenale. La copertina raffigura 4 spade laser in rilievo. Le prime pagine sono dedicate all’introduzione delle spade laser, quindi la loro composizione, come sono state create ecc... inoltre sono riportate delle piccole curiosità sulle scelte di George Lucas per la creazione delle spade laser e altre curiosità legate al retroscena di “quest’arma”. Dopo questa parte introduttiva inizia a parlare delle singole spade laser e dei loro rispettivi proprietari. Sono raffigurate anche le spade dei personaggi presenti nelle serie animate di clone wars e rebels, quindi è un libro completo al 100% dal punto di vista delle spade laser.Il libro è scritto in inglese anche se è molto semplice e comprensibile. Nonostante ciò spero faranno presto una traduzione di questo Capolavoro!!!Libro Consigliatissimo per i veri appassionati di star Wars!!!
