Baby Trend Mini Nursery Center, Glenview

I was really wanting to find a pack and play that had a canopy because I use it for my newborns sleep for months. I used the graco silhouette for my first and loved it. Unfortunately can’t find those anymore. We have since moved and have a smaller room so I thought this would be a good alternative for our room size. And I didn’t need all those extras that come with the average size crib pack n play. While this was sturdy feeling and hard to break down once set up ( maybe we weren’t doing it right at first) the material was very cheep. The canopy was thin and the mattress pad was the worst. Not only was the foam cheap feeling, it wasn’t a good thickness compared to the other brand AND it came with dents all in the foam, I assume from packing. Not sure if it would have evened out over time but by the feel of the foam, I wasn’t expecting it to. I will be trying to return if I can figure out how to fit back into the box or look for a mattress that will fit in this size at a good cost to makeup for such poor one provided. Overall I would not recommend this unless you just don’t care about the negatives I have described.

This is just like a bigger pack & play, just in a smaller size!! The one review talking about the mattress pad having a gap has added an aftermarket pad. This bed doesn’t come with one besides the bottom piece that is flat & every pack and play has. That review kept me from buying for awhile but I’m glad I took the chance & saw for myself!! Buy it, it’s worth it!!

It was a little difficult getting fully setup. It is nice and compact. But it made me nervous if he turned sideways his legs were up the wall and head on the mesh. A little too compact for me.

I picked this up to use as a bassinet for our bedroom. This assembles pretty quickly and is very sturdy. I could see this being great for travel though we don’t use it that way. We did end up purchasing a cotton water-resistant cover for the “mattress” just for the baby’s comfort. Great product and a good choice for a bassinet for the parents’ bedroom, and much sturdier than other travel bassinets in the same price range.

The mat smells gross and we’ve had it for a couple of months and cannot quite shake the chemical smell. We got a fitted sheet and used some diffused oils and it’s helped some. Love the product but wish they would use better quality materials.
