Would be more but arrived broken
I ordered this as a Christmas present for my Trekkie Father. I was thoroughly disappointed when he opened it and it was leaking everywhere! The box it came in was not to the caliber I was expecting, it had rips and tape all over it and some of the image had peeled off. This would have had a higher rating had it not been in such bad shape. Would not order this one again!

I purchased this globe about 1991-1992 time frame. It was purchased as a collectible! It has been in a dry closet in my bedroom for more than twenty years in it's original box!! Decided to clean house and went to this item and notice liquid at the bottom of my collectible's box. There probably only 60% of the liquid in the dome. To the trash it goes!!!

Terrible quality...
I bought one of these brand new back in 1992 and it sat on my bookshelf out of UV sunlight for many years. The other day I noticed some of the liquid appeared to be missing. Apparently Willitts Designs made these with a rubber seal that rots over time. The glue that held the ship-stand to the seal decayed, the rubber broke down and now my globe is in the trash and the antique shelf it was on has to be refinished. And of course Willitts Designs is long gone (part of a merger of a merger) and there's no recourse to even pay to get the item repaired. One of the items that's been for sale on Amazon has had this happen to it as well, so chances are there's a considerable failure rate on these.
