Deceptive marketing - marketed as 1400 watts when it is only 800 watts as stated on appliance and seen from suction power. However, this makes it safe to use with 5A plug points.2. Bags and filters are very expensive. My filter for motor turned completely black in 2 months.3. Suction power is only adequate.4. There is no enclosed space to store the accessories. They are stuck outside on the canister and gather dust

Have been using the Miele classic for 2 Months, and extremely happy about the product. It is a well engineered product, the handle bar slides inside to store conveniently, the hose and the attachments are a perfect fit with clicks, so that it does not come off while doing the vacuum cleaning. The plug is a 15 amp plug, but one can easily get adaptors to convert a 15 amp pin to a 5 amp pin. Its also convenient to store, with easy storage both horizontally and vertically.Overall a very well engineered product which will last many years.

Be warned, this comes with a 16 A plug. We only have two at home, both in the kitchen. Which means I will have to go tomorrow to either buy a giant and dangerous extension cord, or an equally unwise 16A to 6A adaptor. I am not pleased. What is the point of a great vacuum if it can’t be plugged in anywhere? Bafflingly stupid. Bad Miele!Follow-up: I have now bought a 16A to 5A adaptor, and used the machine. The vacuum cleaner is excellent. The plugs did not heat up, nor did the electrics trip. So glad I can use the machine, but seems a pity that I have had to do this

If you are considering buying this vacuum cleaner please go ahead you will not regret it. The suction is very powerful compared to the Karcher WD we use at my old office. It cleans well, the air coming out of the vacuum feels cleaner too. I am sensitive to dust and with other lower priced vacuum cleaners i can't stand the exhaust air. I have had it for two full years now. Still works great. No issues. Great suction. I have a dog who sheds and two little kids who make messes... It's good for all of that .. cleans pet hair pretty well.Highly recommend.
