I was really surprised by the quality and utility of this kit for less than 20 bucks. I had a set of silicone oven mitts in the past and those alone cost around as much as this whole kit. I lost those between moves, so had been using dish towels since then, which is how a lot of professional kitchens do things, but leaves little margin for error since if you hold onto something hot too long with a dish towel you'll start to feel it in a few minutes.This summer, I seriously hurt my shoulder, putting it in a sling and forcing me to be careful to use one hand in the kitchen. I love cooking so much I still try to cook one handed. I bring this up because it brought me to this product. Being one handed I was hoping to have some more suitable heat protection. This didn't disappoint. I'll go through each item one at at time.First, it comes with a hot handle holder that can slot over a pan. This worked just fine on my 9" cast iron and was snug. Even with the cast iron on at full heat, it was still safe to the touch. For convenience, I've just left this on since then. See picture for reference with this.Next, we've got the round pads (trivet mats). You can grasp things with these, but since they're a bit floppy I just use them to put under my kettle/hot items (as pictured).There are also these 'mini oven gloves' that look like crab claws. These were great since, being one handed at the moment, its a little hard to get the full gloves on without some finesse. These also insulated against heat just fine.There are also these little pot holders. You can see them pictured being used to grasp a casserole dish. These would work better with a casserole dish with handles extending from the dish, but I wanted to show how they slot around a thinner dish too.Lastly, we've got the oven mitts themselves. The 'quilted liner' extends through the entire glove. I held it to a hot baking sheet for a full minute and the heat resistance performed fine. You will get faster heat with the other items since they aren't lined, but still better and safer than a regular cotton dish towel. The designs and indents on the glove are on both sides, so you don't have to worry about left/right orientation to get grip and traction.Notice also the little holes in everything except the pot holders. I have hooks for hanging utensils throughout my kitchen, so I've got everything except the trivets hanging from the hooks (The trivets could hang, but I like to keep them near my coffee and tea area). You can see this in one of the pictures for the item. As a side note, if you're looking to save space in a kitchen, I really recommend a rail and hook system.My only complaint, which is really just more of a wishlist, is that the pack came in colors besides black. I really like colorful kitchen items and would love for these to be a bit more colorful. But, quality and safety is at the end of the day most important to me, and I feel safer using these in the kitchen. And of course when you're done you can simply just wash in the sink and scrub a tiny bit, which is more convenient than throwing dish towels in the laundry.

As a professional innkeeper/chef, I have great interest in kitchen tools! I was very pleased with this wide assortment of items.When I first looked at the listing, I wondered if the gloves might be too bulky and hard to manage. (I have small-ish hands and the oven gloves would fit much larger hands than mine.) However, the oven mitts / gloves are very flexible and easy to manipulate, even with my small hands. They extend a good distance up my arms, protecting me from rack burns. (We’ve all had them, am I right??) I really, really like using them. The lining is comfortable, and the flexibility is amazing, not cumbersome at all.I tried to demonstrate the use of the long handle protector on my cast-iron skillet. It did not absorb heat quickly at all. The smaller handle grips, shown on the red enamel cast iron Dutch oven holding boiling water, are for temporary use, while you’re moving a large pot or another item. I would not leave them on the cooking pan expecting them not to absorb heat. The table pads are… Table pads. Protective and a good option!All in all, I will enjoy using this set and I am recommending to my friends.

We keep getting our forearms burned so I ordered these because it said they were longer in length and the are! They come way up your arm and provide excellent coverage from those hot oven racks! No heat transfer at all and they grip pans well and rinse easily when splattered on. I was thrilled that this was a set and had all kinds of extras. My favorite being the little claw like grippers - the are perfect for when you need to drain pots. Lots of useful items and all are a good quality. The black matches any decor so these would be a perfect housewarming gift for folks moving into their first place.

I’ve been looking to update my pot holders for sometime. I like this set because it’s silicone leaving it very easy to wipe clean and holds no odor! They are heat resistant and you get all the necessary items you could want.I really like that each piece has a loop making it easy to clean and air dry as well as store if you hooks in the kitchen. It’s sleek and modern design is nice and I just can’t tell you how good the price is. I’d pay more for each piece even at HomeGoods than for this entire package. Great buy!

These were some of the best potholders I think I’ve ever gotten before. I was very hesitant because the material felt very thin but My mind changed quickly when I first started to use all of the items first let’s start with the potholders. The potholders are very sturdy a little big but it does conduct the heat very well I didn’t never feel like my fingers were going to burn neither were my hands. The highway and star of the set are the pot handles. I bought a new pots it which are all copper and I didn’t realize that copper was it a conductor of heat. My first time using that said I burnt my fingertips trying to pick the part up and strain the noodles. Once discovering these pot handles they have been a real game changer and I literally use them every day. I’m happy to say that these far exceeded any expectations I had for this pots holders and oven mitts.

I loved the little finger protectors so convenient and useful. The larger oven mitts protect your arms because of the extra length. The pot pads are very useful to protect your table or counter top. The oven or toaster oven will an holders are the bestI would definitely recommend this product to anyone who cooks or bakes

A great deal for a great bunch of items. The oven mitts fit great and cover most of the forearm. The pot holders are perfect size, great for putting a hot pan or teapot on. There’s a little silicone grabber good for quickly just grabbing a small/light hot pan or plate. Then there is a utensil handle cover to put over a metal utensil that may get too hot using it to cook. The last items are little silicone edges you can put on something to make it so you can grab the object directly.
