Great readable history of Australia.

A family member visited Austrailia this year and thought this book would make a great gift! The book came in excellent shape and it was a great price for a hardcover book! This book looks like an excellent read and would recomend to own it as a hardcover over an ebook. The best part is that the sellers state they donate a portion of the proceeds to charity. Great purchase!

Quit a history lesson. I bought it because my Son In Law is an Aussie and i was interested in his heritage. It clarified a number of misconceptions and really put the British in a bad light in their eary harsh punishments.It was interesting to note that out Independence from Britain contributed to their prisioners being sent to Austarlia rather than America as had been the practice.

This is a gift and arrived in great shape.

Very interesting book.

A sometimes dreadful, always fascinating story. Much more meaningful following a trip to Australia.
