Very disappointed. I bought it because in the description it said'Airtight function - Not like our other kind of condiment box set,this set has a large advance.They can be closed tightly which is dust-proof,pest-proof and water proof.'Nothing like it. They can be closed 'loosely'. I would not take a risk putting my favourite spices I brought from abroad into these containers.

Love it in my kitchen!

Bought these after seeing Alton Brown use a similar product to hold his seasonings. I was looking for convenience of use so I was attracted by the one-handed operation promised by this product. Build quality is nice; glass makes it heavy and plastic parts don't feel too cheap. Ergonomic for one handed operation (pick up by handle + open lid by thumb. Other hand either scoops or pinches content) is pretty good. While the small plastic spoon they give you fits in each of the containers while empty, when it's full of contents forget about stuffing it in so you can fully close the lid (shown in picture)All in all very happy
