Perfect replacement
Used this on an unknown door and they fit perfectly. I say unknown as it was in the house we purchased, built in 1999 and I can only assume they were the original "contractor grade" rollers. These are wonderful and the door is like new.

Now the door will open with no problem
Easy to install and fixed the door to open smooth. The price was fair, but I found the same product at a big box store for a little less.

DIY repair worked out well
Matching what the door originally had to this model on Amazon was easy, easier than going to a home improvement store. Saved us from having to replace the entire door due to difficulty opening and closing. thank you AMAZON.

Probably Easier to buy at Big Box Store
So my home was built in 1996 and that is how old my sliding glass doors are. My old units were completely rusted away and the rollers were free from the bearing. I got these in because they matched the roller size, however...the outer casing of the new one was an 1/8 of an inch to large on the vertical axis. I had to grind theses down on my belt sander to get to the correct size. One I did that, it fit fine. It was a also a tiny bit looser side to side..but that really doesn't matter too much since it will bolot from the outside. There are two screw holes on the door and the new unit had the adjustment screw in the opposite hole of the original, so I had to enlarge the hole for the new position of the adjustment screw so I could fit a screwdriver to make the adjustments. I may have gotten the incorrect units for my door, but these did ultimately do the job correctly after all my fixes. The next day my father-in-law came over and I showed him and he told me that he just bought some new roller assemblies for his sliding door at the big box store for less than what I bought them for here...and since he could compare them right there, his will surely work out better than mine.

Breathed new life in an old door!
Instead of buying a new sliding glass door, we changed out the wheels with these ones and WOW. What a difference. They were slightly too wide to fit in the bottom of our door but as shaving them down just a touch, they fit perfectly and turned an old door new again.

Get the old one out first
Nothing as pleasing as an easy sliding glass door. Get the best match for your existing rollers and the work of getting it out, putting this in, and back into the door frame is very rewarding. Usually ( with older doors), a large screw holds them in, however this one has an adjuster screw only which leaves you to find a screw that fits. The replacement roller has a hole that matches where the bottom doorframe hole is. I didn't use a screw. I mean, what the heck...it fits tight and the weight of the door will keep it in place for a long time. It won't shift, and don't forget to hit it with a good lubricant to make it rust-free.
