Sea Fare Smoked Salmon Chowder Soup, 9 Ounce

We love clam chowder, so I really wanted to try this. It tasted good, but the one cup in this pouch was a disappointment- we expected more than a 1/2 cup for each of us in the container. When we realized how little we got and how very much it cost, we agreed that we will not be getting any more of this! Very rich people may choose to have it, but we will stick to clam chowder.

Wow--this exceeded my expectations. I didn't hold much out for a soup arriving in a pouch. But boy, was this delicious! Would definitely order again. I should have ordered more than one... :-(

This product is outstanding, but you can purchase it for a much better price elsewhere.

It's another reorder of the best Salmon Chowder I ever tasted. Just right for a quick, nutritious lunch.

Too fishy

I am a very picky eater. I am currently trying desperately to find a restaurant near where I work that sells fried rice that I will eat and so far I have come up short. My complaint with most fried rice is the same complaint that I have with most store bought soups like this: low quality ingredients. The vegetables that you get in most store bought soups (and most fried rice) are barely better than the vegetables that come in those Nissin Cup O'Noodles and the seafood is generally even worse.I almost didn't buy this because I have had so many bad experiences with these kinds of soups (and packaged seafood) but I am very glad I gave it a try because it is exactly what I was hoping for. The vegetables are hearty and the smoked salmon is as good as any packaged smoked salmon I have had. This soup would not be at all out of place if served at a restaurant and I would quickly become a regular customer at that restaurant. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a very high quality soup that is extremely easy to prepare.

This is one of the best commercially processed soups I have ever eaten. Add the fact that this is gluten free and I'm definitely in love with it. There are 2 points that make me give it 4 stars instead of 5. This should be labeled as a single serving. It is only a 9 oz. pouch, so you get barely over 1 cup of soup. In my opinion, this makes it a single serving for lunch. My second complaint is the cost. Over $6 plus nearly $5 for shipping. In my opinion, this is very high. I would gladly pay $4 for this if it shipped free with Amazon Prime. If you can afford over $11 for a cup of soup, then I highly recommend keeping this in your pantry.
