You do need to measure your body as Levi is tried and true to its sizing. I was lucky enough to own a pair of Levi’s high waist jeans to know my sizing. They don’t waiver and are accurate with all of their sizing. These Jean shorts are adorable! They fit comfortably and perfect, help with flattening and flattering the stomach with the high waist. They’re also flattering on the back. If you’re able to measure they really are the PERFECT brand and will become your favorite go to! Levi’s are hands down my favorite jeans brand for 3 decades now and will always be my go to. They’re going to be so flattering. The rips on these shorts are not too crazy and appropriate for all ages! Get them BE SURE TO MEASURE and you’ll love them as well!

My son says I have too many shorts, but these make me so happy. I started with the size I buy in jeans (28-29 in Buckle Black or Kancan). Couldn’t get them over my hips. Tried a bigger size. And a bigger size. Finally size 32 fits and they look amazing. Still very tight, but I’m a little bloated after Memorial Day weekend :) I’m a fit 48 year old mom, athletic build with a “bubble butt” — 5’9” 183 lbs and I like short shorts but not my booty hanging out. I want more colors!

I generally like Levi's shorts, and have luck usually getting a size 30 and they fit well, so no issues with the shorts themselves. My issue is that Amazon had the bag labeled a size 30 but when I took them out the tag says they are a size 28 and are too small. And I didn't realize until after the return window closed. So don't be like me, check as soon as you get them to make sure you don't miss out on getting your money back in case they make the same mistake for you.

These fit a tiny bit small. I am usually 29 but I got a 30 in these since I saw they run small. The 30 fit snug but good. They are super cute. The only thing I have to say is that if you have a bigger butt at all they kind of ride up awkwardly in the butt area 😅 but other than that they are great. (5’3” 150lbs)

I don't understand the bad reviews just because the shorts run small. Do your research before buying! It's pretty well known that the Levis 501s run about 2-3 sizes too small.I am currently 6 months postpartum. For reference, I wear a 31 in Madewell and a 33 in AGOLDE. I bought a 34 in these shorts.Pre-pregnancy I was a 28 in Madewell, a 30 in the Levis Wedgie and took a 32 in the 501 shorts for comfort.

LOVE the look and quality of these shorts. They are very flattering. I gave them 4 out of 5 starts (perfection) because they are not as comfy as I'd love them to be, but typically the best looking jean shorts are not always super stretchy & comfy. :) I love them

I bought the Luxor Heat - Light Indigo shorts in a 26. These are true to size. I am 5’5 120lbs and they fit perfect. I would even say these are my new favorite pair of shorts. They are the PERFECT color of jean, not too light or too dark. I will more than likely order another pair.

I am 145-150 lbs about 5’6”, wide hips but muscular. I was worried about sizing. I got a 30 and they just perfectly fit but with no extra room to spare. If you want them a little baggy size up. They are not stretchy and have a line of buttons rather than a zipper. Really nice quality and look like authentic Levi’s.

I am usually a 26 and bought 27 I would say I could have bought the 26 but I like having a bit of room and still assume they will stretch slightly. The cut is very flattering slightly flared at thighs covers the right places, but is good. I love the lighter wash , I had just purchased 501 slightly darker and loved those too. I think this is a superior short and cut to be very flattering. I have had many Jean shorts that have awkward elements - these shorts have all good aspects. I’m very pleased and was on the fence took me a couple weeks to purchase but I’m very glad I did. I’m not sure if they are real or legit 501 but I would be inclined to say real because they are great quality and superior fit.

I usually wear size 32 to 34 in jeans and a after trying the size 32 in store and then being too small I decided to order these in 34…. When I received them they fit smaller than the 32s I had tried in the store. For reference, I’m bottom heavy with smaller waist and usually wear size 14-16 in pants with no stretch and jeans usually 32-34. These 34s I wasn’t even able to do up. Otherwise they look great, I had to return because they don’t make a bigger size.

Sent back as were to big… not sure where my refund is??No tracking info on Amazon at all!

I ordered a 31 and a 32 and there were the same size. Very tight around the waist and crotch area. Size reference 5’9” 170 waist 33 hip 40. Super cute and the butt was flattering but the size is way off.
