I ordered this and couldn't be happier. Fast
I have done pieogies by hand and one at a time wit a press. After buying a similar tool for ravioli and really liking it, I ordered this and couldn't be happier. Fast, easy to use and easy to clean. Would recommend to anyone looking to save time.

Cuts time making pierogi in half! Wouldn't make pierogi without these anymore.

Made of unknown metal, degrades in dishwasher
Amazon description says the blade material is aluminum, but, unlike most aluminum kitchen utensils, the silver finish comes off in the dishwasher and then the blade leaves black residue on hands and anything else it touches. I suspect the residue may not be food safe.It works OK as a pierogi press, but it's a bit fiddly and does not save all that much time compared to the old fashioned way of making them by hand. I returned it to Amazon.

Easy to use
I have had this product for a long time and the metal did not degrade. However, there are certain things you just don’t put in the dishwasher. It is very easy to clean with a little hot soapy water. I love it!

Nice but it is hard to cut them apart
This is a very nice press and if you use it with a pasta maker, there is no wasting of dough as the mold is exactly as wide as the dough extruded from a pasta maker. One thing about it, though is that the way it is made, the pierogis do not easily come apart. So it is a mixed blessing. When I used it, I found it was nice to be able to make 6 at once but the extra dough outside the mold gets harder and harder to work if you do not have a pasta maker. I also have a big pierogi mold but that only makes a lot of pierogis at once so if you do not have enough dough to strentch all the way across the mold you end up having to make more dough. The old way of making them one by one with an old glass is slow and tedious. In spite of its disadvantages, this small mold is worth the price.
