This thing is AMAZING!!! Best gardening tool! It is most impressive when I cutting a super pot bound plant out of a pot like a foxtail fern. It makes it easy. I have thrown pots away bc I couldn’t get the fern out!!! The sheath is very nice and sturdy. My friend who owns a very nice plant store and landscaping company suggested this to me. She also buys them as gifts for people. It’s her favorite tool as well.

I received this knife today. I did the paper test and it was sharp but noted 2-3 snags. Looked at edge under magnification and I noted some nicks. I sharpened on diamond stone about 5 strokes on each side the stropped the blade. Now it is shaving sharp. This is the second Linsen knife that I have bought. They are a great buy for the price point. Something to throw in a tool box for occasional use. I noted that my previous Linsen kept its edge well when used on green wood. Again the price point if considering this knife.

I’m not sure what % of stainless this knife actually has in it. A weak fridge magnet will leap to the blade. I was going to send it back however we decided to take bets on if it will produce sparks with a flint.

Not sharp enough to cut

Out of the box I checked the edge and was amazed. Shaved some hair off my arm then used it around the house on a few chores. This knife is as good or better than similar knives at a third of the price.

I bought this knife to replace my old fillet knife for fishing. It works well for me.Pros: It's shape, size and material is pretty good to be a fillet knife.Cons: I don't quit like it's cover.
