What all metal hotends are plug and play with this?

I installed new direct drive. Started printer and printed away.

will this work with the Anet et5x ?

Sorry, we haven't tested it on et5x, we can't answer it.

I have an ender 3 pro upgraded to v2 with 4.2.7 board, v2 screen, and crtouch. do i have to upgrade to dual drive z axis to use this?

No but I'd recommend it as the direct drive setup adds weight that overtime could cause problems.

What decent all metal hotends are plug and play with this?

This uses the stock Ender 3 hotend so any drop-in replacement for that hotend should work. I would try the Micro Swiss all-metal hotend. The Creality Spider looks good but didn't get good reviews.
