It's cute and as pictured, but it's small. It's [about] the size of a medium mixing bowl. I can fit 5 hefty sized avocados and two lemons in it comfortably. I had to send the first one back for a replacement because it was missing the piece to hold the light in the bottom. The pieces don't "lock" into one another, so it's easy to accidently separate them without meaning to. In my opinion, it's not worth $45, but it is a nice statement piece and it's kinda cool lit up. This item should honestly retail for $25-$30, due to sturdiness and size.

When my wife and I saw this we did a collective WTF and couldn't stop laughing, I bought as a gag gift for my dad and boy did it not disappoint, I will never forget the look on his face.

The solar powered light works very well, and it is not at all difficult to remove it for charging. I merely took the unit and put it outside in direct sunlight and it charged up. That was about a week ago and I have not needed to re-charge it since then. Being able to see into the container came in handy too allowing me to remove a rotting vegetable before it damaged the other occupants of the house ;-)

I was pleasantly surprised by this product when I received it. It’s well designed and functioned with high technology. I love the concept. It lights up at night beautifully without battery! The colorful veggies inside capture my attention to eat it. What a creative idea! What an ideal gift for Christmas!

when I first saw this I thought it would be ideal but upon arrival I realized it was just a clear plastic box with airflow under it to prevent your produce from going bad. I thought the light did something special not its just for display. I don't understand why the light was at the bottom the "solar" light has to be taken out from under to be charged but you have to disassemble the entire house to get to the placement of the light. not to mention the amount of plastic used caused major inconvenience to assemble.

Beautiful decor piece, also entices me to eat more veggies! love it. The price? It should be double for its 3 functions in one.

I have never seen that kind of product in market before. It very much like MOMA store product for my modern home. I am sure I will loss weight because of it. Can't wait
