Torq Wr 1/2 Dr Split-Beam Click Style 250Ft Lbs

I really like this torque wrench it has a scale of 50-250 foot pounds. I bought it for the DOD delete that i'am going to do on my G8. I needed one like this for the ARP balancer bolt I got which is not a TTY type of bolt. It will be torqued to 230# Ive been using this wrench on the lug nuts so far since they are torqued to 110-120 ftlbs and it works great. The directions say you don't have set it back to lowest value but I still do. It came with a pretty nice plastic case with the calibration paper work inside. I would recommend this to anybody.

AS A RETIRED FEDERAL AIRCRAFT MECHANIC I UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF PROPER TORQUE. ALONG WITH PROPER TORQUE GOES THE PROPER TORQUE WRENCH. THE SPLIT BEAM STYLE IS THE TYPE I HAVE USED FOR OVER 20 YEARS. YOU WILL HAVE LESS CALIBRATION ISSUES THAN THE "CLICK" TYPE, IN MY OPINION. DON'T EXPECT TO BUY THIS ONE OR ANY BRAND AND IT HOLD ITS ACCURACY FOREVER. THERE ARE MUCH CHEAPER ONES ON THE MARKET. IN MY OPINION, AVOID THESE LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON. TO MY KNOWLEDGE THIS IS AN AMERICAN COMPANY MAKING A QUALITY PRODUCT FOR A FAIR PRICE. THIS IS THE BRAND I WILL STAY WITH ALONG WITH THE SPLIT BEAM STYLE UNLESS THEY SELL OUT TO SOME NON AMERICAN ENTITY THAT COULD CARE LESS ABOUT AMERICA BUT ONLY ABOUT PROFIT.

i used to purchase products on amazon all the time but this changed my mind. The product i received was not the same as shown in the image. In the end i had to pay for restocking fee and shipping which costed me $50.
